This is a scam, I could not stay.

Everything. Booking.com have refunded my stay after I was unable to access the property and was not contacted by the host to provide any information. The agent I spoke to promised that this page would be removed. It is not acceptable to leave it up to take advantage of people. I had to pay £260 for a last minute hotel booking on the 31st and I am still very unhappy about this unnecessary expense.

Scam

I didn't gain access as I was not given a street number. Despite several calls and messages no one returned my call...it was 30th Dec and I had a gig at Princes St Gardens...as check in is 3pm it was getting dark. I was left no option but to spend more of my time looking for somewhere else to get myself off the street! I had to pay for alternative accomodation. I missed half of my concert. To say am disappointed don't come close....I was not alone on the street. There were 4 young French folk in much same boat as me...they did have a flat number but their key code didn't work...I don't know what or how they got on. Spoke to several residents on the street and they say its a regular occurrence...have sent messages but no reply....my advice is save yir money and time...dont touch this shit! Am raging!

Do not book this as it’s doesn’t exist. No door number and contact details is not reachable and will never reply to any of yr text messages I am still waiting for a refund.

SCAM. Flat does not exist. The picture of the outside of the flats appeared AFTER my complaint. But you will need a more

This is a SCAM! Could not find the property. Contacted owners few days prior to get exact address and heard nothing back. Postcode takes you to a different area than the map link ! Phoned owners on day of arrival to say we could not find, messages went unanswered. Contacted booking.com who 45 mins later told me the flat could no longer accommodate our stay, that was at 545pm on day of check in. We were left with no where to stay!

It was a complete nightmare and ruined our time in Edinburgh

We did not like anything because the owner of the flat did not answer my email I sent 1 week before travelling to find out full address and did not answer my phone call when we arrived to find out where it was and l left a message to call me back but still waiting on that call so it left us without accommodation not happy to put it mildly 😡 so avoid avoid avoid.

I can’t say what we liked or didn’t like because we didn’t have the experience of staying there maybe that’s was a good thing just looking forward to getting a refund then booking somewhere nice.

It was close to the train station.

The door into the room looked like it could be pried open lots of damage to the flat door lock area. On the Individual door to our bedroom you could use a screwdriver and just unscrew the padlock to get in, didn’t feel safe.

From the moment we arrived we knew something was wrong we had trouble finding the place when we did we found a dirty flat . The front door had been broken into at one point our bedroom door had a padlock with key on the inside of our bedroom a large black bolt. The wallpaper was coming off the wall the bedroom light was hanging out by its wires the kitchen light buzzed but wouldn't turn on no hot water in the apartment apart from the shower the shower itself full of mold no wallpaper then notes saying in the progress of decorating a dangerous large mirror placed on very sleepy tiles the feature bath as of the room stated is shared between two other apartments which also have padlocks on their doors no keys the TV didn't work no Wi-Fi we had a lovely collection off bins outside our window which were used all night and day the window had to be wedged open with a vase to get air in the room .

Comfy bed but poor experience overall

Location was good, just a few minutes from Haymarket station, and the bed was comfortable.

This was a room within a flat, with a shared bathroom and kitchen - not as it appeared in the listing. Entrance to the flat was dingey and dark, and the flat itself is desperately in need of renovation. The doors don't actually lock, instead there is a padlock on the outside and a 6 inch bolt on the inside. The windows are single glazed so there is a lot of traffic noise from the busy road outside. If the apartment had a lot of money spent on it and was totally renovated, it would be lovely, but, as it is at the moment, I won't be back.

Absolutely not recommended

The room was inside a privat apartment, the door was only locked with a tiny padlock, room was quite dirty and really hot and smelly, windows were locked with screws and couldn’t be opened, the bathroom was shared with other people probably living there. All in all we did not feel safe in there at all and left without staying for the night. We felt deceived and are really disappointed, also regarding the relatively high price. You should update your details here so that future guests will know what they have to expect.

Дуже приємна квартира, чудовий варіант для бюджетної подорожі. Розташування просто фантастичне, привітна до гостей господиня, зручне заселення та виселення у будь-який час, атмосфера загалом позитивна. Доволі комфортна кухня, тут є абсолютно все, а також можна випрати свої речі, якщо це необхідно. Ще мені сподобалося що дуже тихо вночі, не дивлячись на те, що це є центр міста, я спала з відкритим вікном. Рекомендую!

З недоліків можу відзначити, що зараз триває ремонт у ванній кімнаті, але піддержується абсолютна чистота.
