Perfect Holiday

The Apartment was very comfortable, clean, cosy and we had everything we needed. Chiara from the Office was very nice and helpful. The balcony had a very good view but was a little bit small. The Garage was very good because our two cars fitted inside. The beach was very close to the Apartment but you will need a parasol because it's very sunny there.

Just little things like: -we needed a car for most of our Trips. -The Aircondition worked but in the bigger rooms it was still warm in the nights.

Wonderful location close to everything.

Off of the beaten path. Gorgeous location tucked away within the locals. Visit Massimo for caffe and the butcher across the street. Amazing restaurants hidden along the water and street.

Could have been cleaner upon arrival. Still all good.

Partygoers, here's your chance!

The house is great and well equipped. The garage is very handy, as it is extremely difficult to park around Lake Como. Beds are very comfortable. Too bad the house is right next to a bar, which is open every day (except Mondays) from 8am to midnight. There is a lot of noise from 7am in the morning until 01:00 in the night. Maybe the place would be better suited for young people having epic parties at Como than families with kids...

If you're fine with six hours of sleep or looking for a place for late night parties, go ahead! ; )

Lovely house in a beautiful and mostly quiet hamlet

The view and facilities were excellent. The agent and owner made sure that every possible need was met (basic foods, slippers, toiletries) which was very thoughtful. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. The cafe bar next door is very authentically Italian and very useful for a coffee or pastry

Avoid walking down the treacherous Strada Statale and look up the “Lake Como Greenway” path for walks anywhere along the coast. Sala Comacina is in the middle of a 15km walking route which is handy. Much safer and much more pleasant. The road was quite busy and is possibly far worse during a normal August. Sala Comacina is beautiful but is also very quiet with only about 3 restaurants and a couple of bars. The swimming area is also very limited. So you’ll need to drive or walk to one of the nearby resorts. The garage is also very shallow so be careful especially if you have a larger car. If you’re planning on watching TV bring an Amazon Firestick or similar. I couldn’t figure out how to work the tv otherwise but we were fine with Netflix.

It was a little bit noisy because of the main street.
