Excellent location and very spacious apartment.

The apartment is excellently loctaed, the views are stunning and the apartment itself is very spacious, with 2 bathrooms and very big rooms and living area. For guests coming by car, it is also very convenient since it has parking space.

We have nothing serious to complain about, except maybe the kitchen could be better equiped.

Overall a great stay in a beautiful place

location was ok, not in the middle of a town or busy area, buses were easy to catch. the apartment was really interesting and the views were amazing. great space for up to 3 couples. Lovely old furniture and closet space. We all loved the little patios and the good breezes. We didn't use a BBQ as not sure where it was.

Nothing really bad, just a little frustrating. No one ever came to see us or check on us or to pick up money. Entry was done with messages which is ok but not the best information through translation to English. The access to property is a bit tight and the garage space is very small, definitely need something smaller that a SUV size to make it comfortable. we only got in when another tenant came and moved her car so she could get out the next morning. In the kitchen, the kettle and the microwave did not work, we boiled water in a saucepan (looking at past reviews seems to have been broken for a time). There was a lot of small cups and glassware, and very little cutlery and utensils. Using the washing machine is a bit tricky when there are no instructions and cant be read on machine. One of the bathrooms is very tight on space, with an oversize sink and a bidet, only just enough room to squeeze through to the shower and toilet.. Some really good instructions/information on the apartment, equipment and where garbage goes would be helpful. Some good info on restaurants, buses, ferries etc would help greatly.

Location is convenient and views are beautiful. It was spacious and fairly well equipped.

Parking was very tight and difficult to turn around. One shower only gave scalding hot water and one toilet didn't flush properly. The neighboring apartment lost all power and the contact person never answered calls.

Great view but outdated furnishings in the apartment

The property has a great view of the lake however, the furnishing is a bit outdated and old. Appliances did not work properly in the kitchen, however it did not bother us seeing that we were experiencing the Italian food at restaurants

We thoroughly enjoyed the week and the apartment was a very good choice.

The apartment had a great view of lake Como.We met our son and daughter who then stayed with us and the apartment was big enough for the four of us. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment and in one of the bathrooms there was a washing machine. Three balconies to sit on and enjoy the view. Sala Comincina is a small town on the lake but on the waterfront there are 2 restaurants (bookings advised as they are busy)and a number of small bars on the roadside!Within walking distance of boat hire/ paddle boards etc. The nearest supermarket is approx a mile with a mix of walking on the narrow road and lake walkway. Internet was really good all week and the weather superb.We we’re met by Armando at the agreed time who fully explained all the details about the apartment.

The buses RouteC10 try to follow a timetable but traffic on the lake roads can easily cause delays and Sunday service was a problem for my daughter in Como as there was not enough space on the bus to accommodate all the passengers. After a busy day the walk from the lake is uphill!!

Very nice place but no Wifi and unresponsive management

The flat is very spacious and warm, almost every room has a balcony with beautiful view. If you want to relax and have no internet connection, this is a perfect place to be. Birds singing in the morning, very enjoyable coffee on the balcony. Furniture in the style of Art Nouveau which I personally quite like.

False advertising - no internet was provided, paid or free. Except the cleaner, staff unresponsive, messages remain unanswered. Too many numbers and people to deal with, very poor management. Communication really tedious, they wanted to let us know what time we arrive 30 mins before arrival, then again 15 and despite our arrival time was the same, they were late to check us in. not sure what’s the point in messaging so many times if that doesn’t improve the punctuality of the person checking us in. Ignoring our messages about the internet issue I found very rude and disrespectful. The flat seemed to hot, we weren’t shown how to turn down the heating. The shower was either too hot or too cold, couldn’t set the temperature.

getting the keys was terrible! the hosts were ignoring me for 2 hours straight and passing me over to the next person, very unprofessional. Horrible experience getting the keys and checking in.

Amazing view and friendly host

We just loved the view! So peaceful.. the apartment is spacious, everything you need is in the apartment. Parking available, also location is great. Our host Armando was very helpful! Would recommend staying here.

Guests are completely ignored in case of problems.

The view is breathtaking. The apartment is big and has a garden.

To receive the key we first contacted the host, who then redirected us to the service employee, who does cleaning and check-ins. The service employee didn't answer our calls, so all communication was through the host in the beginning. After checking us in, the service employee, who did it, left the apartment saying that in case of problems, he would come to the apartment in 30 minutes. When we connected to the WI-FI, we found out that router itself has broken Internet connection and we had NO Internet in the apartment. The employee didn't reply on any calls or messages, so we contacted the host, who told us to contact the service employee, who suddenly answered saying he will come in 30 minutes, but he actually never came. After that he never responded any calls the same or the following day and the host also stopped responding to any calls or messages. Basically we were completely ignored by the property employees until the end of our stay.

Great apartment for big group

Huge apartment with three bedrooms with double beds, living room, kitchen and back yard. Two bathrooms with one bath one shower. Water pressure good and enough hot water. Gated yard with parking. Balconies (there is three) have great view to the lake as the building is above the village.

Check-in was quite difficult as the owner was hard to contact. After some messaging, owners nice and friendly mother met me and gave me the keys (four is needed). The apartment was nice, but the hall way and stairs were unfinished. Maybe some construction is still being made. Village is nice but services are very limited. I found three restaurants from which two were quite expensive. Couldn't find a proper shop for food, so I ended up driving to carrefour 40 minutes a way.

Bellissima vista panoramica, grande e spaziosa.

L'appartamento ha una bellissima vista panoramica e una posizione ottima per raggiungere luoghi incantevoli come Menaggio e Bellagio con il traghetto. L'ambiente è tranquillo e dispone di un giardino con area picnic e barbecue. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

La casa è bellissima e spaziosa, ma mancava di manutenzione e di pulizie straordinarie. Gli armadi avevano un odore sgradevole, i bagni necessitano di sistemazione e l'intera casa avrebbe bisogno di essere riordinata completamente.

Wifi ne fonctionne pas. Gros manque de vaisselle et pas toujours propre. Flexique de douches percés. Poignée de porte d'entrée qui nous reste dans les mains. Porte fenêtre d'une chambre qui ne ferme pas. Joint de porte qui se décolle. Plainte des voisins lorsqu'on utilise le barbecue. Lit individuel qui n'est qu'un lit d'appoint.

Super mooie locatie met een zeer vriendelijke host.

Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon was fantastisch. Het appartement was zeer ruim.

De inrichting was gedateerd, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. De keuken faciliteiten waren verouderd.

Das Appartment ist großzügig geschnitten und gut gelegen. Der Blick vom Balkon ist wunderschön.

Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist seltsam zusammengewürfelt. Manches fehlt (beispielsweise konnte man den Fernsehr nicht benutzen weil kein Adapter für die Steckdose da war...)

Estadia muito agradável para encontro familiar.

Muito espaçoso e grande e confortável, inclusive banheiros. Varanda com vista linda. Estacionamento, mesmo com SUV okay. Outro carro na rua sem problemas bem perto na faixa branca sem custo. Nova direção da Gisele foi excelente, caloroso e profissional. Todos gostaram muito da estadia.

Colchão de um quarto poderia ser trocado.

Geniale Aussicht wiegt Vieles auf

Die Aussicht von den drei Balkonen ist einfach fantastisch! Die Lage, die Größe (3 SZ+2 BZ), viiiiiiel Platz und die Aussicht waren wirklich super. Check-in per WhatsApp Fotos (ohne Text) hatte ich bislang noch nicht, hat aber grundsätzlich ganz gut geklappt. Es müsste aber mehr Text zum Parkplatz (dass man außerhalb der Garage ganz an der Seite stehen darf, wenn dann andere Autos noch vorbei passen) und ein Foto vom WLAN Passwort geben.

Wir hatten aber wirklich Pech mit dem Personal! Der Kontakt mit Mohammed - den wir nicht einmal gesehen haben, war schwer... Schwierige Kommunikation bei telefonischer Rückfrage zum Parkplatz (da diesbezüglich das WhatsApp Foto nicht eindeutig war - es war nur der Kies direkt vor der Garage fotografiert - war uns nicht klar, wo wir parken sollten). Das WLAN Passwort war nicht zu finden, da es hierzu leider gar keine Anweisung und auch kein Foto gab. Wir haben zu viert "near the TV" gesucht (das war der einzige Hinweis den wir - auf Nachfrage - telefonisch und schriftlich erhalten haben). Als Hilfe für alle anderen: Es klebt UNTER der Wlan Box. Das Internet funktionierte dann aber leider nicht. Hier gab es auf meine Nachricht keine Reaktion, erst am zweiten Tag unseres Aufenthaltes, nach der dann zweiten Bitte um Fehlerbehebung wurde überhaupt mal geantwortet. Dann wurde der Fehler aber immerhin behoben und es funktionierte zum Glück ab da. In der Küche gibt es eine Kaffeekapselmaschine, einen Wasserkocher und einen Toaster - leider allesamt mit schweizer Steckern. Die passen nicht in italienische Steckdosen! Ich schätze es wird wahrscheinlich mal Adapter gegeben haben, leider war aber bei unserem Aufenthalt kein einziger Adapter vorhanden. Auf meine Bitte, uns einen zur Verfügung zu stellen, habe ich bis heute keine Antwort oder irgendeine Reaktion erhalten und wir konnten die Geräte so leider nicht benutzen. Wir haben auch keinerlei Anweisung oder Hinweise zum Check-out bekommen. Auf meine Nachricht zum Check-out, habe ich keine Rückmeldung erhalten. Wir haben dann einfach den Schlüssel wieder in den Self-check-in-Tresor gelegt. Es gab kein "Auf Wiedersehen" o. Ä. Was ist das denn bitte für ein Service, wenn man überhaupt keine Rückmeldung bekommt?! So schlechte Kommunikation und schlechten Service hatten wir noch bei keiner Ferienwohnung. Normalerweise kennen wir nur netten Austausch. Wirklich schade!
