La casa di Giulia

The location was perfect for us as we were a pleasant walk to most things within the city. The place itself was cozy with a nice little kitchen area as well as a super clean bathroom. Gulia was very responsive for any questions we had before, during and after our stay. We would absolutely come back and stay if we are ever back in Florence.

The stairs leading up to the apartment was rather steep and a slight challenge trying to lug up the luggage; however, that absolutely should not sway you from staying here unless you have mobility issues.

Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und durften sogar schon etwas eher einchecken. Das Apartment war ausgesprochen sauber und wirkte sehr einladend. Es war mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt so benötigt. Die Lage war wirklich hervorragend - man kann alles zu Fuß erkunden. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass die Wohnung in einer lebhaften Gegend liegt und man auch am späteren Abend noch den Trubel auf der Straße hört. Da die Wohnung über eine Klimaanlage verfügt, kann man jedoch die Fenster schließen und die Klimaanlage anschalten. Für uns war das sommit kein Problem.

Wir hatten etwas Mühe die korrekte Adresse zu finden, da es die Nr. 51 in der Via dei Macci zwei Mal gibt. Über google Maps wird man zur falschen Adresse geleitet, die korrekte Adresse liegt jedoch nur wenige Schritte entfernt neben dem Restaurant La Chicca.

The apartment itself was tiny but renovated beautifully making excellent use of the space,. The host did her utmost to make it homey and invited. It was very clean, tastefully decorated and the host was accommodating and hospitable -- a gem of a host. The location was central and easily walkable to wherever I wanted to go. It is in a ZTL zone, but It was very near to a parking lot at the border so we could park outside in the lot and walk directly to the apartment.

The apartment was located two flights up with and old, narrow and steep set of stairs. Dragging luggage up these stairs was the one drawback.
