Great place in an amazing location. Perfect for older children and anyone travelling with dogs.

The property was lovely and cosy and the location was perfect. The house was homely and comfortable with my daughter especially loving the recliners and myself enjoying the sun room each morning. The selection of books was also brilliant and we appreciated reading them on the beach. Everything was within walking distance, town, supermarkets, amusements, beaches, zoo and waterpark. We didn’t need to drive at all while there. The garden was beautiful as well as the house plants and I enjoyed watering the gardens and sitting on the top deck taking in the great views. We took our dog and the nature reserve over the road was perfect for morning and evening walks. There is a dog friendly beach just at the end of the road too which was great for our dog. We wanted to book again for next year so will keep an eye out to see if this place is available. Best holiday we’ve had for ages.

When we arrived there was no cutlery or cutting knives so we had to pop to the Morrisons but to be fair it wasn’t far. The laundry facilities that were advertised were not available so be prepared with multiple changes of clothes as there is no access to washing machine or dryer. We had been under the impression we were able to use them and so didn’t pack as much as we would have and did a lot of hand washing as a result. The level of cleanliness overall was ok as we were travelling with our dog but we did have to wipe out drawers etc before we unpacked and there was quite a bit we cleaned before we settled in. Again we were ok with this and it didn’t put us off but it wouldn’t be ok for everyone. The garden was amazing and as we were all fit and healthy was used a lot but it is very steep (so are front steps up to property) so if you are travelling with very young or people who aren’t sure on their feet it may be troublesome.
