Great!!

Great location, only a short walk from train and bus stations, also a short walk from town centre, and Paignton pier, which is a thriving hub of entertainment for kids, and various food vendors, flat was comfortable and exceptionally clean, with free wifi, and a smart tv

Excellent clean and comfortable base for exploring the surrounding areas.

Clean, comfortable and within walking distance of the centre/harbour, trains, buses, etc., so an excellent base. The friendliness of the hosts, as well as the communication leading up to our stay as well as during it. All in all, could not ask for anything more.

Accomadation was very good as were the hosts Donna and Tony, would fully recommend, great holiday!

There was`nt breakfast included in the holiday accomadation booking but it was`nt a problem, accomadation was lovely and clean, had everything there we needed, Hosts Donna and Tony were lovely people and most helpful.

Maybe a shelf in the shower to put your shampoo, etc on could be fitted? Not really anything bad we could say, For what we payed i felt we got exactly what we paid for. lovely place, had a great holiday!

Room was clean and tidy. Our additional request was granted which made us really happy. Our hosts were very welcoming. Location was very good, close to the town, close to the beach walking plus buses near house.

Couple of minor tweaks needed but overall an easily accessible yet basic stay for a short trip

Our host couldn’t have been more helpful and was friendly and approachable. The stay was affordable and decent value for money.

The curtains were so thin that they may as well have not been there in either bedroom. The cold temperature in the bunk room was harsh and the thin duvet didn’t offer much respite from this.

Excellent break in Paignton in good clean accommodate which was in a good position

We stopped at coombes holiday flats which was self contained with cooking facilities, shower, WiFi TV and dining facilities. The location was perfect and just 10 mins walk from Paignton town centre and 40 mins walk to Torquay which we did most days. Alternatively there is a bus station nearby and a bus will take you to Torquay 20 mins or other locations in Torbay. We used the bus service and there are plenty of buses and they are reasonably priced and reliable if you want to explore by public transport.

Fantastic location, as clean as you get.

No faff and fanfare, just a decent little self contained flat. Ideal for small families. The location is spot on, perfect for a walk to Paignton promenade or to Goodrington Sands. Ten mins in each direction. 5 minute drive to Brixham or Torquay, bus stop nearby, train station nearby. What more could you want. The flat was spotless on arrival, the floor shined like a new pin and all the bedding smelt fantastic. The owner clearly prides themselves on high hygiene standards. The kitchen area is well equipped with hob/oven/micro/kettle/toaster..... not just one or two items. Even little quirks like the electric meter (£1 lasts 3 days +) are quite charming and was used to educate the kids on the cost of energy.

If I’m being highly critical, I would say there was no where to really sit and relax, the sofa bed, although great as bed, wasn’t very comfortable for daytime use. My wife also would have liked a hairdryer..... again, I’m being highly critical. The road out front is busy, but that dies down away from peak times and didn’t really cause an issue. I’ll stress again, the location is perfect to do all things in Torbay.

Great family run lodge.

The check-in was very smooth despite my late arrival. The apartment is very well equipped which is great! It was very clean. The location is rather residential and near to the town center. You can park your car within the property which was one of my requirement. An Old Steam train is passing by daily... Fantastic! Donna and Tony are really nice and welcoming! I would recommend without hesitation. I am hoping to go back in the future.

The only thing which could be an issue for some is that the house is located next to roundabout. Traffic can be a little intense during day time.

Our apartment was lovely and clean, everything worked and the apartment had full cooking facilities not just a microwave, the hosts are very nice and welcoming people and gave us good advice on where to for nice walks.

Lovely hosts, great room and really excellent value for money

I couldn't find the property and called Donna to guide me and was really helpful, they also let me check in early due to me having to go out. The family are lovely and very friendly. The room is plenty big and has everything you need. It is kept very clean and for the money was excellent value. There is a kettle, fridge, cooker, microwave and washing up facilities so everything you need, and there is a shop a couple of minutes away. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone.

There are no tea making facilities, not a problem as long as you remember to bring what you need.

Despite covid restrictions our stay was most enjoyable with the host conforming to government ruling

Location , near to all amenities including train station & beach .quiet residential area. Own key and entrance door . Free parking on site . Good laundry facilities & flat clean & well equipped . Flat surpassed our expectations!

Everything was very satisfactory ample room for 2 adults .
