Relax in a Charming Flat in Le Marais

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of le Marais area, and the apartment was stylish, comfortable and fitted out with everything you could need including sofa bed made up on arrival. Host was very attentive and quick to respond. Check in and out was very easy.

Good location in the Marais. Modern and clean.

The room was not ready at 3pm as promised, which was incredibly inconvenient after having slept very little on the preceding overnight flight. The bathroom had a strange chemical smell that never went away. The shower drained incredibly slowly. Four of the six nights there was a homeless person sleeping in the vestibule/entry of the building. Leaving in the morning, we had to step over him. He was able to get into the vestibule because the door to the building had a lock whose latch didn't really catch. When I complained to the host, he claimed that there was nothing wrong with the lock, and that tenants just need to be sure to pull the door shut all the way. But that is not correct. It is disappointing that the host showed no interest in fixing this problem.
