It was a great location, clean, comfortable and met and exceeded our expectations.

This is an excellent location if you want to stay in the center, few minutes from Notre Dame. Neighbourhood is cosy with pastry shops, restaurants and brasseries for every pocket and taste. Check-in was easy and access to the property, despite a staircase which tested our fitness level, especially with the luggage, was manageable. Host accepted even an early check-in, after struggling to leave our luggage with some nannybag storage (recommended), in the vicinity, which was not open at the time (tricky part to find it as well).

When we arrived cleaning was done and the apartment was ready, except the blanket which was folded in a drawer. We realised the sheets were not so neat and a part of the blanket which stood out from the sheets was dirty. I contacted the property and send pictures and a lady came and replaced the blanket altogether. There were no tissues in the kitchen or slippers which was a pity having in view that at this level of pricing it is expected so.. There were too few tea packages and coffee capsules. As suggestion, a bottle of water at the arrival would greatly improve the feeling of hospitality at minimal costs.

What we liked: the location, the charming building, the beautiful Marais neighbourhood, and the peace and quiet.

What we didn’t like: very limited communication with the staff, and whenever there was an issue, we were repeatedly asked to record a video of the problem. This became so inconvenient that eventually we stopped contacting the staff altogether. The apartment itself is very, very small. The photos do not reflect its actual size at all. There was no hot water throughout our entire stay. The air conditioning makes very strange noises, even after it has been switched off. On the first day, the bed collapsed, and this happened repeatedly during our stay. The problem was simply that the wooden slats were not secured to the bed frame. I don’t think purchasing a better bed base would require a major investment. There were no hooks anywhere for coats or towels. Previous guests have already mentioned this issue in their reviews — since February 2024, there have been five comments about it. I agree with their suggestion that installing a few small hooks would hardly require a major investment, yet they are a basic necessity, especially in the entrance area. There was only one mug for tea in the kitchen. The table squeezed into a small corner is not really functional, and the chairs around it are extremely small, almost like children’s furniture. The wardrobe is also very small and is suitable for one person, or two at most. There are no blackout curtains in the living room, which makes it difficult to fall asleep comfortably. I would not recommend this apartment for more than two people.
