208 Suite Guerlain - Superb apartment in Paris

It was a great location, clean, comfortable and met and exceeded our expectations.

This is an excellent location if you want to stay in the center, few minutes from Notre Dame. Neighbourhood is cosy with pastry shops, restaurants and brasseries for every pocket and taste. Check-in was easy and access to the property, despite a staircase which tested our fitness level, especially with the luggage, was manageable. Host accepted even an early check-in, after struggling to leave our luggage with some nannybag storage (recommended), in the vicinity, which was not open at the time (tricky part to find it as well).

When we arrived cleaning was done and the apartment was ready, except the blanket which was folded in a drawer. We realised the sheets were not so neat and a part of the blanket which stood out from the sheets was dirty. I contacted the property and send pictures and a lady came and replaced the blanket altogether. There were no tissues in the kitchen or slippers which was a pity having in view that at this level of pricing it is expected so.. There were too few tea packages and coffee capsules. As suggestion, a bottle of water at the arrival would greatly improve the feeling of hospitality at minimal costs.

We needed to put back the bed slats on the cheap Ikea bed as it had sunk, hot water lasted for half a shower at a time, a bit of attention to cleanliness in bathroom is needed. Bedroom lights faulty. Washing machine needs cleaning,sterilisation and deodorising. Photos need updating as they do not match the actual property. Finally I contacted the property days prior to our check in to request an early check in - they said yes depending on cleaners. We received a late text saying - same time check in. We stood outside for two hours prior to actual check in time and no cleaners exited. We are not recommending this property
