Driftwood Hideaway

The location was perfect and the owner so helpful and very friendly, very nice stay and good carparking available. A choice of two good pubs very close by for supper and fabulous fare at the Ship.

All was good :)

The property was extremely clean with good quality bedding provided and the homemade biscuits and chocolate provided were appreciated. Car parking immediately outside was very convenient. The 2 pubs nearby in the village is a plus, both serving food.

A simple guide for how to find the property would have been a big help. Asking a local from the same road left us no wiser and we were directed up & down several other roads. The small sign hanging on a fence to the side of another property was difficult to see. The accomodation is comfortable but very small, certainly for 2 adults who are no larger than average size.

Wonderful room with an extraordinarily comfortable bed. The sheets and duvet were of the softest cotton, it was like sleeping in a cloud. I met Lynne for a quick chat, which was lovely. There was a piece of cake waiting for me, and a cute little bar of the delicious dark chocolate. The Ship Inn is just around the corner. Axmouth is a lovely little village to walk around. For those walking the coast path, it's a little extra walk from the coast but it's level, so that helps.

No tv , to small , no room to move about, toilet outside bedroom ,
