About this apartment rental
This lovely holiday flat is in the old town centre of Lucca. Set in a quiet area yet near all the facilities, this apartment is near the renowned old walls of the city and the Porta San Donato gateway, a perfect position for visiting all the main attractions of Lucca and easily reachable by foot are both the bus and train stations (respectively a 5-minute and 20-minute walk). At 300 m there is a paid parking.
This cosy and elegant 100 sq m flat is on the ground floor of a building completely restored in 2025. In a quiet street in the city's heart, the apartment is next to the Church of Saint Thomas, just 50 metres from the 500-year-old walls with its beautiful tree-lined walk, and near the renowned Via Fillungo with its glitzy shop windows. In the vicinity, there is also a children's playground.
A perfect mix of historic charm and modern comfort, the flat has a double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, another bedroom with a French double bed, two bathrooms with a shower, a living room with SAT TV, a double sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster) and a dining area.
In the surroundings, there are bars, restaurants and food shops.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of both the cetnre of Lucca and also to the train station. Check in process was very smooth and Silvia was incredibly helpful in showing us around and explaining all of the features in the apartment and also provided lots of useful information on what to do and recommendations for restaurants, etc.The apartment was of a very high standard and was easily big enough for 4 adults. There are two bedrooms with a double bed in each. We were expecting 2 twin beds in one of the rooms and my son and daughter weren't keen on sharing a bed. This was solved by one of them sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge which apparently was very comfortable but meant that we couldn't use the lounge as a seating area as easily if the sofa bed wasn't in use. However this wasn't a problem for us as we were out and about for most of the day. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment as a suitable base for exploring the wonders of Tuscany.
