Beautiful spacious home in a lovely residential road

A bit of a way out of town but short drive in an Uber.

Great communication from hosts, easy to find ky box for entry, we booked late on a Friday and arrived, and it was like it had just been cleaned. Very spacious house with all the things you would need. We stayed to start X-mas shopping and a night out, so the location was ok, not a far drive/taxi from central Southampton and a nice quiet area to feel away from all the hustle and bustle

Blinds let too much light into the property (bedrooms); it could do with some curtains. There was no mirror in the bathroom. Other than - perfect.

Lovely house, with all amenities you would want. Rooms were decorated nicely & furnished well. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory.

Dining room chairs were really uncomfortable to sit on. They could do with scrapping the blinds, because some are broken & let in the daylight.

Lovely spacious home. Well equipped. Plenty of room. Nice to have a driveway for private parking. Nice bedding and duvets. Special touches like embroidered linen and towels with the house name on it. Great location for Paultons park.

Unfortunately a lot of the blinds on the windows were broken a little which let in light. There were no curtains so the children couldn’t sleep until it was dark and were awake as soon as it was light. The sofas weren’t very comfortable to relax on in the evening. It stated they were sofa beds but they weren’t. The dining chairs were very rickety, they just needed tightening to make them more solid, we had to choose the 4 best ones to sit on. It wasn’t very clean when we arrived. There was tissues under the sofas in the conservatory and the kitchen surfaces weren’t very clean. There was half a used butter in the fridge and some food on the freezer. There was more coffee than sugar in the sugar canister. The shower was ok but the bath was very slow draining so we ended up with water way above our ankles each time. We ended up coming home Sunday night as we were all shattered because of the light in the bedroom situation, and the uncomfortable sofas to relax on. The beds very very soft but I understand that’s preference. The washing machine worked sometimes and the airer was tied with wire. No cutlery holder in the dishwasher.
