I really liked this place. It is small but everything you need is there. Saw someone moaning about the lack of a fridge...honestly the kitchen was really useful, this place was less than half the price of the Premier Inn and had a lot more character. Location is brilliant. It doesn't smell of meat (as some reviewers said) and despite being on a busy road it was a v quiet and secluded room. If I was on a budget I would stay here for a week happily, it was perfect for me although maybe too small for a couple. Overall this place was great and amazing value. The bed is great! Amazing sleep.

Although kitchen was great there was no coffee, tea or milk. It's a nitpick, but it did irritate me having to go back down the shops to stock up. I need tea! The TV was broken...I would have knocked a star off for this but I was only there one night so it didn't affect me. If this is important to you, I would check with the owner first

Great price! The room was exactly as anticipated, and in the heart of Electric Avenue, Brixton. It was close to Electric Brixton which is my reason for travel. The room was clean, with cooker, kettle, fridge available. There was also a washing machine. No extra charges! The bedding was fresh, clean and smelled wonderful.

The mattress could do with a change, although I've slept on worse. The door lock gave me cause for concern as it was loose, but appeared to hold the door closed. There was also an annoying fire alarm beeping near the main doorway (probably needs a new battery), but once the door was closed, it didn't disturb my sleep.
