Les Sablons - Magnifique Vue Port

The location was superb, backing right onto the beach (Plage des Bas Sablons). It is just a few minutes work to the local town centre of St Severain with plenty of cafes and shopping. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Visited in June 2026 and it looks like it had been recently renovated. It was possibly the best normal holiday let I've ever stayed in.

There was no air conditioning or even a fan. We were lucky and managed to miss the major heatwave in June 2026 but even with daily temperatures in the low 20's, the apartment was bordering on uncomfortably warm for a couple more used to Scottish summers. We kept the blinds closed all day in an attempt to keep the heat out but the drawback to having full length windows facing south-west with a fantastic view of the beach is the power of the summer sun.

The location of this apartment was excellent - with stunning views of the beach in Saint-Servan. It was also an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and very well kitted out.

The apartment has a footpath that runs directly outside the windows - so there was quite a lot of noise in the evenings and into the early hours. We had to close the windows, but in the hight of summer this would be a problem as there is no air conditioning.
