Well located apartment - mind the steps!

Well located within easy reach of the town and beaches.

The apartment was at the top of a staircase and bedroom was located in the attic with restricted head room and a narrow staircase. It would have been helpful to have been made aware of the stairs in advance.

Well equipped flat within walking distance of old town.

Beautifully decorated flat, ideal for a a few nights before getting the ferry, which is close by. Well-equipped with everything needed, from washing machine to coffee machine. Around 25 mins walk to old town. Tiny beach nearby as well & a few nice restaurants/shops.

It’s a cosy flat, fine for families but there’s no door on the bathroom/toilet (there is a curtain) or between the two adjoined bedrooms upstairs.

Perfect location, easy to park, everything in the kitchen, nice view. The bathroom we liked the most

Old and bad smell in the building. Third floor with small stairs, for us not a problem but difficult with big luggage. Very small bedroom mostly for the bunk bed. The request from the owner to also empty the dishwasher ……….

This is not a negative for me but the stairs up to the apartment are a little steep. Just be aware if it might be an issue for you.

The host was very kind. We received useful information on parking, which was very helpful. The apartment was stocked extremely well: plenty of coffee and tea, of dishwasher tabs, etc. The apartment has everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine, big fridge. By foot it takes 15 minutes to the walled city.

The apartment is too full. There is virtually no space to put a suitcase. There are decorative items just everywhere and it is too much. You can hardly lay your own things anywhere.

Lovely place we will probably rent it again in the future

The apartment is lovely with tasteful decoration and very clean. Cottage like feeling very cosy Walking distance to Ferry terminal (5-10 mns) and St Malo intra muros (15 mns) and a few Shops and retaurants cafes closeby . Very quiet at night Welcome gift from the owner which was very much appreciated. Teas and coffee provided which was also very appreciated

Not much channel available in English (for my partner) apart BBC news. But this was not too much of an issue as we were out all day. Flat was very hot when we arrived but after having open windows it was better. Difficult to find a parking space even a paid one close to the flat. But this is not owner's fault Flat is on the top floor with narrow staircase, no lift as old building. We managed alright but this might not be be suitable for people with mobility problem and with big luggage.

We enjoyed our stay in St Malo, lots of shopping, and even visited Dinard a short ferry trip away

The apartment was very central, close to the beach and town and the bus stops which took you everywhere. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our 2 day stay.

I was very hot in the roof but we kept the windows open and the fans provided going, nothing to complain about.

It was easy to get from the apartment to St. Malo centre.Geberal facilities good.

Description on internet misleading. No view of sea unless you stood in upstairs bedroom. Parking near property is NOT free except on Sunday. It was inconvenient having toilet downstairs and bedroom upstairs with tricky stairs.

Very convenient for what we needed.

Excellent layout and design utilising a small area. Perfect location for a one night stay before catching the ferry. Great communication by email with the owner. I doubt whether the apartment is really suitable for 6 people as there are no interior doors between the sleeping areas but the place is well equipped. Wonderful shower!!

The dilapidated exterior and scruffy interior staircase is very off putting but the actual apartment is well designed once you have climbed all the stairs. We couldn’t get the WiFi to work. Some furniture needs replacing - the plastic imitation leather sofa cover is peeling off.

Property was clean visibly and the location was good.

The entrance staircase was very steep and poorly lit. Also the room has low ceilings so not ideal for someone who is tall, we bumped our heads a few times. The owner / host subsequently harassed me on WhatsApp for initially rating him overall 8/10. The place is ok however I would never stay here again as the host has some issues. I have stayed in 100s of hotels over the world and never have I experienced something like this. The decrease from 8 to 1 is due to the post stay incident purely.

Location agréable , très bien aménagée , proche d’Intramuros donc trop bien , quartier calme , vu sur le port des vélux. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable mais cela reste possible pour un week end mais pas une semaine à plus de 2 😉

Manque porte salle de bains ( rideau ) donc pas top pour l’intimité !! Pas de store ou rideau au niveau fenêtre de l’entrée ! Et nous étions 3 ( couple avec notre fille de 21 ans ) pas d’intimité et les chambres ne sont pas très grandes !

Praticamente tutto! Bella, confortevole con pratico parcheggio. Molto curata! Ottima vicinanza a intra muras. Comodo parcheggio biciclette. Ci torneremmo volentieri! Host non sul posto ma risponde a messaggi rapidamente.

Non c’era connessione wifi, scale scomode fino al terzo piano.
