Overall experience let down somewhat by lack of attention to detail e.g. shower bracket still broken some 6 months after first being reported in visitors book, kitchen sink draining slowly, TV remote not working due to exhausted batteries (we replaced them). A shame as this could have been a 5-star review

When we arrived, the code for the door and the key safe was totally wrong, luckily someone saw us struggling abd came and helped. He luckily had the correct codes. The phone numer emailed to me got no answer even though I left my name. Was very stressful not being able to get in

It was not made clear to me that Insightful Properties were acting as the host. I took their email to me to be a scam and didn’t access their details. I contacted Booking. com 3 times when I had had no information about key access but got a very unclear response suggesting that I would receive the information the day before or the morning of arrival. The result was that we arrived at the property with no means of access. Enquiries at the nearby shops gave us a name and number to phone and eventually via Saudi Arabia and Egypt we were given the key code. It needs to be made clearer in your access advice that ‘host’ can mean a managerial company. This unfortunate incident for which both Booking. com and Insightful Properties have laid the blame at my door, rather ruined our holiday. I am booked with you to rent a flat in Norwich from 22nd June and request confirmation about key access. Thank you. Margaret Creighton
