All facilities were very good. Very friendly hostel who was extremely helpful. Nice quiet location with everything at hand.

Loved everything about the Drey and the Janet, the host.

Everything 😁. Janet is a fantastic host who does everything she can to ensure you have a great stay. 5 of us stayed and we all would have liked to have had a longer stay. Even though the main house is on a main road there is little road noise in the Drey which is at the back of the main house.

A little tricky to find first time as the main house is on a pretty busy road, but not a problem once it was located.

Toilet Problem

The Drey was spacious, modern and clean. The Drey had a well equipped kitchen which was spacious for 6 people.

The toilet in the unit gets easily blocked as the unit is on a downhill and the pipes don't drain out. After we left, the owner informed me that we blocked the toilet and that she had to pay for plumbing to have it fixed and as a result I must now pay the bill as I was informed. The toilet was working and not blocked when we left. The owner was quite abrupt and insistent, possibly had no insurance to cover and certain it was us who blocked the toilet. We did not find her attitude towards us as her guests very professional, considering we left the property in good clean condition and did not view anything wrong with the toilet when we left. Although paying half the bill as I did not need the hassle of arguing backwards and forwards, I heard nothing more from the owner. I think this issue could have been dealt with differently and that the owner should insure she has a good, working toilet for her guests . Just a warning for others to be aware of!

Perfect place to stay with family to explore the local areas.

Absolutely perfect place with all facilities needed for my disabled stepfather. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, which are very rare in my experience. Janet was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help, we really appreciated her attention to detail. Would love to stay again if we are welcome, thank you so much xxx

Wonderful house and an excellent Airbnb

Very modern beautifully presented throughout with very good amenities

Upon arrival, the outside looked a little ‘interesting’ but the old adage ‘never judge a book by its cover’ certainly applied here! The large bungalow style building was in fact a former child care centre converted to this very comfortable Airbnb

A real gem of a property. We will definitely stay again.

There is ample parking and the property was spotless inside. The standard of cleaning and overall appearance was exceptional, there was not a speck of dust to be found!. It was deceptive when we arrived as the outside looked quite plain and then you walk in and it is much bigger than you expect and very presentable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary items needed for meal prep. There was tea, coffee and milk supplied for a much needed hot drink after travelling. The bathroom was a lovely size and fully accessible with good water pressure in the shower. There were toiletries provided which was very handy. The wet room floor was not slippery when wet. The beds were super comfy. I think the mattresses were the most comfy we have slept on when staying away from home! I am very fussy with pillows and duvets, but once again the quality was superb with an excellent pillow height/support. The garden was an added bonus to sit out in and enjoy a morning cup of tea. The tv in the living room was a smart tv with a good selection of channels and it was so nice to have a proper full sized sofa which reclined! The host was very communicative before the stay and fully understanding of our additional needs for medical reasons. Our welcome at the property was very warm and helpful.

The bedrooms were very hot and a fan would have been a welcome addition (we only stayed one night and did not have a chance to ask the host if they had a fan for us to use, which they may well have done).

A stay with Janet was like going home to your mum

Large and spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained. Every room has a large TV, great as a group we can have find our own space at the end of the day. Private parking was a bonus too. A great place to come back to after visiting the local area.

Excellent

Great 3 bedroom location, parking right outside, everything was in the property and off the main road so enough privacy to enjoy the location. Gail was so helpfully and friendly that made our night stay a pleasure. All four beds were super comfy, and everything was so clean.

Amazing

Location is amazing, both for getting to Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding area. The property is spotless and very spacious with a fantastic outdoor play area for the kids. Absolutely everything has been thought of that you could possibly need. Janet & Gail are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. We'll definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future.

A lovely overnight at The Drey

A great place to stay everything you need for one night's stay or more. Lovely and clean and quiet. Janet was a great host and very welcoming and kept in touch with us and made herself available if we needed anything .private outside garden area to use which was nice to sit out in with a glass of wine. If you are looking for a lovely stay whilst in Poole you won't regret booking the Drey it ticks all the boxes.Thanks Janet good luck and keep up the good work !

Everything you could possibly need and beautifully clean.

Due to traffic we arrived terribly late but Janet still waited up for us and toured us around the accommodation. It was exceptionally clean and well presented with everything we could need. The children loved the board games and adventure playground in the garden! We could have definitely stayed longer!
