Poole 2 night stay

Really good location. The flat is a lovely place to spend a few days. The facilties are great and the beds are extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Lights from the street made it very bright in the lounge in the evening but this is a minor issue. Could do with some curtains in the corner windows.

Curtain in the bay window (we used the sofa bed and it was light due to streetlamps and then the sunrise) There was a weird almost vibration noise in the master bedroom. It didn’t effect my son (it was like white noise) but it might annoy some people The TV was difficult to use. It connected to the wrong WiFi in the morning so we had to reprogrammed it but it took a while to realise that

Lovely and very comfortable accommodation

Amazingly comfortable beds and soft linen. Didn’t expect 2 bathrooms, which was great. Very large comfortable lounge and fully equipped kitchen.

Wasn’t sure on area when we first arrived, above an unused building and directly behind a co op on a fairly busy road. BUT, we needn’t have worried, really quiet and great to have a good sized parking spot in a small car park area out front.

Spacious, comfortable, lovely apartment

It is very homely. Beds are very comfortable. I felt safe staying there. Some apartments I've stayed in don't provide tea or coffee so it was a nice surprise to see it being provided. The communication was excellent when I needed to make contact. Definitely booking again when I need to go back to Poole.

Luckily we didn't have much food were we usually would have if we had stayed a week. Im only saying this as the cupboard space which there were loads of cupboards were just full of stuff in everyone of them so it doesn't give space for food that is brought for cooking meals while staying.

Great location & value for money.

Second stay for us visiting family locally. Great location, free allocated parking, flat spacious & warm. Very happy to recommend & stay again.

Cleaning had slipped a bit from our last visit, en-suite shower needs some tlc , dishwasher not empty from last guests ( although clean).

It was just a one night stay and everything was just right, particularly appreciated the apartment being lovely and warm

The apartment’s rooms are very spacious with a fresh and homely feel, the kitchen/sitting room has a comfy sofa and there’s a large TV. Books, cushions and nice accessories make it a homely room. Slept well in the comfy beds. The apartment has new carpets, great natural light from large windows, both bathrooms have new suites. The designated parking space is close to property entrance so very convenient.

Minor points / needs a bottle opener and either to provide toiletries or not. It implied there were some but only an almost empty bottle of shower gel. Less intense lighting would be good so more lamps / bedside lighting etc

Was perfect for what we needed would definitely stay again

The property was huge, we only stayed for one night but if you were staying longer there was so much space it would have been great.

The shower holder up thing was broken so a little awkward to wash my hair but got round it I’m guessing the owner hasn’t noticed it’s broken.

Apart from the bed situation this is a lovely apartment. Such a shame as it was a real downer.

Location was great and the en-suite bedroom, living/dining/kitchen area were all lovely. The apartment was warm and cosy. Lots of tea/coffee/sugar etc - but we had brought our own, but was appreciated.

The second bedroom was supposed to have a double bed and a single bed. In fact the single turned out to be a futon near floor level with no sheets. This bed was intended for my 87-year-old mother, which was never going to be possible. So my husband used this (not easy with 2 replacement knees and 2 replacement hips), and I slept in the double with my mother. Extremely disappointed on this aspect.

Overall, it was fairly good, other than needing a thorough clean. Location was good and the size.

Location was good as we have family fairly near within a couple of miles. Property was near to town and all amenities.

The sponges in the kitchen sink need throwing away and replacing EVERY visit with clean ones. I would NOT advise anyone to use these for hygiene purposes. The kitchen dish drainer was also full of scum build-up. Either it needs a good scrub and clean with a steam cleaner, or replace it as these are cheap enough. Although overall flat was clean in appearance, the kitchen bin needs cleaning thoroughly too. It had a build-up of food waste underneath the lid and when lifting the bin bag out upon exit, it was smelly at the bottom of the bin. Radiators need a good scrub too as I did not want to put towels on them. The shower cubicle in the Ben-suite needs a thorough scrub too as there is a build-up of scum on the glass doors and around the the base. Pillows were very flat and need replacing with new ones which are cheap enough from any major supermarket.

Comfortable Bed.

No sheet provided for single bed . Not a flat bed, legs at end missing. Dishwasher didn't clean dishes. Shower above bath didn't work . One oven tray had remains of meat left. No cruet set (salt and pepper).

Comfy, spacious flat that we’d use again when visiting the Poole area.

It was spacious and light with an easy walk to places to eat and shops. There’s a dedicated parking spot for the flat as well which makes life easy. The place was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.

Something possible outside of the flat was making a noise - it was more of a background white noise, and didn’t bother us too much, but for very light sleepers, just bring earplugs and you’ll be fine. It was only heard in one of the bedrooms.

Comfortable, spacious accommodation.

The property was comfortable, clean, spacious and the kitchen fairly well equipped. It was away from the main harbour in a residential area but suited our needs for a one night stay. Our daughter who joined us came by train and it was a 10 minute walk from the station. It was good to have parking onsite and the supermarket downstairs rather than have to travel to get food for the evening.

We had to empty the dishwasher to find cups and crockery so assumed this was acceptable and put the dishwasher to run its programme when we left. The main bathroom could have done with a clean around the skirting boards. We had asked on booking for the bed settee to be either made up or bedclothes left due to the makeup of our party but it wasn’t and we had to contact the owner who came and sorted it out promptly.

Very clean, lovely large living space, Co-op conveniently located on other side of building, comfy beds.

No tea towels, toilet bowl was discoloured but bought some bleach which sorted it out.

Lovley little spot perfect for ferries

Great location we needed someone for the 5 of us and this fit the bill perfectly. So spacious and perfect for the ferries its 1 mile away from the terminal. Easy checkin and very clear instructions from the owner. And free parking is a plus i managed to fit my 8 seater van in with no issues at all.

I can see why others have mentioned about the fridges downstairs yes we could hear them but it really isnt that bad at all.

Single bed not made up, no bedding available to do this. Bathrooms not clean, shower screen full of limescale, toilet bowl very stained. Poor quality bedding. No wine glasses, dishwasher not emptied.

Brilliant Stay

The property was fantastic! We only stayed one night as we were travelling extensively but wished we had booked a few more days. The place was very spacious for the four of us and the kitchen/living room area was very relaxing. The grocery store just below us was a bonus as we had a long day travelling and it was very convenient. We found the place quiet despite being close to an intersection. I would definitely book this place again if travelling to Poole.

The sheets could have been a bit better. Maybe time to replace the sheets

Good sized apartment

Clean and spacious apartment. Good sized bed rooms with a well equipped kitchen and decent sized lounge attached. Comfy beds. Quiet area but we stayed midweek, so cannot say what the noise levels are like at the weekend. Co-op attached so useful if you forget to bring anything Overall good.

Location a good 20 minute walk from the Poole harbour and all the associated eateries. A bedside lamp in one of the bedrooms would have been useful.

Great flat in perfect location for the port but be prepared for noise from the shop below

Great location - especially for the port. Clear communication on how to find and access the property. Lovely spacious rooms.

The comfort of our stay was impacted by the constant sound and vibrations from the refrigeration units in the shop underneath. The second bedroom was fine but the main bedroom was not easy to sleep in. Such a shame as the flat itself is lovely. If I was the owner I would be putting a complaint into the co-op and failing that the council.

What a fabulous apartment. Everything you need for a self catering break. Spacious & clean. Close to Poole harbour & shops. Private free off road parking.

A little road & neighbouring air con unit noise, due to weather & needing the windows open A few personal belongings found in some of the drawers was a little surprising. A little pricey for 1 night.

Lovely bright clean flat, central to everything!

Lovely central location, perfect if you’re wanting to explore the area or are going to The Lighthouse for a show. Parking space right outside. Beds and sofa very comfy.

A wine glass would be nice ;) And it’s quite noisy - big fans on the go all the time outside the back bedroom, on a busy road and the Co-op had a few deliveries. But nothing major.

The entrance to the property was disgusting from the outside to the apartment door - we were greeted with a tampax on the stairs one of which felt unsafe. In the apartment several of the chairs were broken and dangerous. Could have been cleaner especially the carpet.

Will not return

Unfortunately the flat smelt unbearably of cigarettes. Even opening windows didn’t help so obviously embedded in the furniture and property. Very dirty steep stairs to entrance. On a very busy crossroads. Rated as 8+ and even a 9, completely misleading.

Good value for a two bedroom apartment

Spacious layout with a comfortable seating area in the lounge . There was a loud humming noise in the bedroom with the en-suite possibly from the refrigerator units in the Co op below the flat - ear plugs are a must .
