Disappointing experience
The house was modern, clean and warm.
The house was not well equipped (e.g. no casserole dish, no wardrobe just a hanging rail, hard bed). We had various maintenance issues that were not resolved (toilet, kitchen hob). After we had paid in full, we received a stream of demands from the agent for extra information (copy of passport, names of everyone staying at the property, copy of a utility bill with our address). We were concerned it was a scam and we sent a message about our concerns to Booking.com but we didn't receive a reply. The house keys were in a key box at the house. We were told that we would be told the key code after we had paid in full but we were not told until the day we were due to arrive and only after we phoned the agent to say that we needed the code.
