The Oak Room - Windmill Country Retreats

A lovely quiet retreat in the countryside. The staff were very friendly and professional. Good food at the windmill and also walking distance to a great pub.

Great location in a lovely village; lovely views across the fields and tasty food options at the cafe and pub; easy to park and secure.

Busy environment during the day, but the Oak Room is quite private.

Superb one bedroom apartment in an idyllic location. Host very welcoming and helpful. There is a cafe on site if needed as well as other interesting shops. Quiet and peaceful location with an outside seating area for private use.

The accommodation is beautifully decorated. The setting within the windmill grounds was unique .

There are only small improvements that i would suggest. The bathroom door had a terrible squeak which caused issues during my the night if anyone used the bathroom. Also the towel hanger in the bathroom does not work with the towels and they repeatedly fall on the floor . This could be fixed by sewing loops onto the towels or replacing the hooks . Please accept this feedback in the spirit it is intended as we truly loved our stay.
