The views were lovely and the hot tub was fantastic. We had a lovely 2 days relaxing and chilling out with no children running around. Perfect
We felt £15 per night for our two dogs was rather expensive. It added a further £45 to our stay. How much more cleaning was needed between one and 3 nights? As good dog owners we followed the rules and did not let our dogs on the furniture so all there was to do was sweep and mop the floor and vacuum a rug. One of our dogs was a poodle X so did not even shed hair! An easy money maker. If you don't want dogs then don't take them!

The Lodge was absolutely beautiful, the scenery, the lodge itself was beautiful too had all the amenities we needed! We cant wait to come back! The staff were very responsive, very helpful, super polite. We loved the cows too lol 🐄 . Also LGBTQ+ Friendly! 🏳️🌈
There wasnt much we didnt like to be honest! Maybe a little more privacy around the hot tub area as we did have some guests keep staring. Maybe a thicker matt to stand on to get in and out hot tub. But that really is nit picking!

Absolutely brilliant break for us. We stayed in Hardwick.
Compact but everything you need for a reset.
We had rain pretty much all weekend and it didnt ruin it, that speaks enormously regarding the unit and surrounds.
Well equipped, very clean, incredibly comfy bed, hot tub was great with the need to self light etc, fishing proved to be better than expected.
Surrounded by nature, fields and cows.
Pub down the road served good meals.
Shopped in Melton Mowbray on the way for some lunch and picky bit.
No hesitation on going back.
Honestly nothing.
