The property was excellent for the 6 of us staying there.

The back garden was a building site with plenty of rats. Once landscaped it will be the full overall package.

Good location with a beautiful view and the rooms were a good size. Nice big field opposite which was nice to sit on in the sun. Bathrooms were clean and functional, although you have to turn the hot water on in the kitchen before using the main bathroom (which wasn’t made very clear to us)… electric shower in the en-suite works without the hot water.

Garden was a building site, which wasn’t highlighted pre-booking or even prior to arrival. With the building materials on the driveway, it felt very unfinished. Cleanliness wasn’t amazing - very surface level. When we used the recliner, there were old chocolate bars and bits of food detritus under the sofa. Not the hosts fault, but next door has a yappy dog and they left it on its own all night on our second night… it constantly barked until they got home at 12:30. Some instructions for turning on the boiler etc would have been helpful too.
