Noise at night from some people coming home from the bars.

You cannot beat the location! A half block from the center of town. I was a little worried when entering the building and being blinded by the shocking red carpet😄 But…the apartment is very nice and tastefully decorated. We were able to park in the lot of the building both days. Our stay was short so we basically only slept and showered there. The tiny kitchen had nice appliances that we didn’t use. There are several little coffee shops and cafes within a half block. And of course pubs! The photos included are the view from the apartment living room and main bedroom. So quaint 🩷

Could do with a deep clean, but made no real impact to our stay

The proprietor said he sent us info via booking.com with access info to the apartment, which we never received (and have still not received 4 days later). He was not on the premises when we arrived at 5:50 pm after driving from Dublin and flying from the west coast of the US. He ignored my phone calls and texts asking for access. Fortunately the helpful proprietor of the inn across from Garda House tracked him down at a coffee shop. The Garda proprietor was hostile and rude and seemed quite willing to just leave us hanging with nowhere to go for the night (Kinsale was all booked up). He finally gave us the code over the phone, begrudgingly. Not a good experience.
