Redington House SelfCatering accommodation

Fantastic location. A short drive to Cobh and easy to get to Cork City. We visited Fota Island Wildlife Park, which was just a short spin away. Shirley was a great host, making sure to meet us when we arrived and left us to our own devices. We got to meet some lovely dogs too and a friendly white cat. In hindsight, we should have checked out the other apartments at Redington House, as we had a toddler with us and once he went to bed, we had nowhere to go. We knew that there was no living room in the upstairs apartment, but I guess we thought we'd be outside or in the kitchen. The kitchen is very small though, so wasn't really suitable for that. I think the upstairs apartment is perfect for adults or a parent visiting with their more grown-up child. With young kids, I'd recommend checking out one of Shirley's other apartments.

We absolutely love staying at this property! It's so peaceful and quiet, with plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's ample parking, beautiful sea views, and a warm, friendly welcome every time. This was our fourth visit, and we can't wait to come back again!
