D21 Kirbys Retreat 1, skegness

Very clean, brilliant location, very quiet, perfect for my partner and my son.

Lovely van nice and clean

Could have done with instructions how to find it. It was Sunday and office was closed

It was clean comfortable and tidy.

Difficulty in obtaining the key code, I tried calling the owner to ask for the code they did not reply. No information from booking. Com either.

Location was good. Lounge area generally comfortable and clean. Sitting out area was good. Panel heater in bedroom was good.

Kitchen utensils (knives, forks & spoons) were dirty. The hob was filthy and there was no extractor fan, just a hole. Ignition on the gas fire in the lounge didn’t work and there was nothing else to light it with. There were no bedside lights. There were no extra blankets. The decking had parts where it didn’t fit together properly leaving gaps. There were only 5 glasses in total, 2 small, 2 highball type and 1 larger glass. The kitchen (and bathroom which smelled of urine) floors were dirty and there was no mop, we bought and used floor wipes Plenty of cleaning sprays under the sink but evidently don’t get used much. Shower head leaks and is impossible to position. This is quite an old van and needs some maintenance.
