Parkdean caravan site

Coming home. I have a video but it won't upload

Everything. The bedding smelt and wasn't clean. The owner said she has a video and it looked clean, I have one too, mine shows it wasn't and obviously she couldn't smell the bedding. We bought new to sleep on. The single chair in the lounge area is filthy. The settee had to be wiped before we could sit on it. Red stuff and very suspicious looking brown marks under a cushion. I spent most of my time cleaning. The cutlery and crockery are greasy. We used our own. Shower looked repaired by kids bits and pieces of plastic stuck here there and everywhere. The bin stations at Park dean were full to bursting point of rubbish, flys everywhere and goose poo all over the place. We won't be coming back.

Great caravan

Lovely caravan. Really spacious and nice layout. In a great quiet area of the park.

Caravan needs some attention. Shower is just about hanging on the wall and is incredibly difficult to turn off, one of the single mattresses has the metal bars coming through the fabric on both sides, my daughter cut her leg on this several times in the night, so that needs addressing.

Overall it was a brilliant break. Exactly what we needed

For the price i paid i have no complaints. It did what we needed it to do. Provide a base for us to go and enjoy the beach for a few days.

So we did find bits from previous holiday makers, so its needing perhaps a deeper clean. Did this ruin our holiday no. I wanted somewhere cheap if i wanted something more luxurious i would of paid a higher premium.

Caravan was not the best

The site was nicely laid out and although busy it wasn’t too noisy, there was plenty to do and a couple of restaurants to choose from.

Caravan on first impression was ok, however, the cream leather/plastic sofa was filthy when we looked closer, obviously someone had let a dog jump all over it. The place was full of dog hair and the floor had some dubious yellow stains. The mop had been used to mop up urine and left to dry without rinsing it was disgusting, the caravan was full of flies everywhere, we had to go buy bleach and antibacterial cleanser so we could use the facilities. After it was cleaned it was bearable. The dining table could not be used due to it being very loose and felt like it was going to tip over. The location was pleasant and the overall campsite was nice and had plenty to do.

Caravan was dirty inside, dining table was broken, spring was coming through matress on a single bed.

Good for a short getaway.

The shower was surprisingly good and being inside park dean meant there was lots of good facilities.

In need of modernisation and some refurbishment. Beds uncomfortable and general cleanliness could be improved.

Good little find

Booked it last minute as had issues with the accommodation I originally booked they had double booked us .however if I'd had know about this caravan I would have and will be bringing the dogs again . (Steps depending )

The steps leading to the caravan are in dire need of repair ..stepped on the bottom one and it fell off the cable ties had corroded over time getting in and out a little difficult .

Nice and quiet, clean and comfy.

Soap in the bathroom and spare loo roll not supplied. Dining table wobbly. The address given didn't state it was on the southview site.
