The apartment was in an excellent location in the heart of Fuchal town and above the main shopping centre which has a huge supermarket where you can get everything that you need for self catering. It is very quiet as it looks out on a side street and there are good views up to the fort from the balcony. Getting in to the apartment was easy as we were sent a short video showing us what to do. The apartment building is kept very clean and there are lifts. The apartment itself was excellent with a well-equipped kitchen, large lounge with comfortable sofa and a large dining table, a very comfortable bedroom with loads of wardrobe space and a great bathroom with large walk-in shower. There was also a balcony, as mentioned earlier. We had a problem with the toilet seat which seemed to be broken when we arrived, but there was someone out to fix it within an hour of reporting it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I do think that 2 rolls of toilet paper for two people for a week is very mean. It would have only cost pence to provide more. The same goes for dishwasher tablets. If there is a dishwasher it seems only sensible to provide the tablets. I asked about this and they quickly brought me a handful of tablets but said that they didn't normally supply them. Previous occupants had obviously made do with washing up by hand, as I could see from the state of the wine glasses. Both these items cost very little, but make a big difference. This apartment wasn't cheap, so please don't be so mean in future.

La ubicación del apartamento y el parking que era muy cómodo.

Nada, estaba todo correcto. Solamente vimos que había alguna luz fundida, en un distribuidor y la luz de la campana extractora, pero sin mayor importancia. Lo comunicamos eso sí para que estuvieran al corriente.
