Downtown Funchal Apartments by an island apart

The location is near perfect for everything I need

The apartment is very clean, modern and great designed, it has everything you need (except washing machine or mb I missed it). Located very closed to basically everything, loved it

Nothing about the apartment but the parking. There's one 3,5 mins far from the place but turns quite pricy if you need to keep the car for over the night. The other ones are in about 15 mins walking (which is okie). No chance to park on the street unfortunately (in July :) )

We absolutely loved this place! Super location, clean, great communication with the host, and more!!

Hot water takes ages to run

The location of the place is great. Initially the apartment was clean. It is relatively spacious. The AC functions well. Also, there are no problems with hot and cold water.

It says in the booking that there is a washing machine and an iron in the apartment, which is not the case. The washing machine and irons are in the common laundry room. Moreover, the washing machine was not working. There is nothing cleaning of the apartment either which was not indicated on the Booking. Thus, we wanted to wipe the floor ourselves but there is no equipment available. Also, the third person was sleeping on the couch. The couch is not comfortable and has multiple stains. The curtains are not closing completely thus it is quite bright in the apartment. Also, the apartment is on one of the central narrow streets where you can hear the noise when people pass. No soap for hands at all and the toilet paper is given only on the first day of the stay. No possibility to leave the luggage before or after the stay anywhere in the building/apartment.
