I stayed for 9 nights and loved it. The apartment was absolutely amazing, very clean and spacious, it had everything I needed. The location is perfect for exploring Funchal city centre and also as a starting point for the trips around the island. Vanessa, the host, was very helpful, shared with me a lot of info and was always responsive. She was also flexible regarding the late check out, which I really appreciated. I would definitely like to stay there again!
Sometimes it can be a bit noisy from the street but that’s expected given you’re in the city centre. It didn’t make my stay less enjoyable

Great location in the heart of Funchal. Fantastic supermarket 100m away. Nice poweful shower
We had stayed at two other Ivens apartments and this was well below previous standards. The price for the Vintage apartment is poor value. Poor privacy in bedroom without curtains pulled all the time. Absolutely nothing by way tea/coffee/condements etc
