About this apartment rental
This is a quiet, comfortable and spacious apartment, in a modern building called Marina Club at Avenida Arriaga 73, above the Marina Shopping, 300 meters from the CR7 Museum and 100 meters from the emblematic Ritz Café, Close to everything, right in the center of Funchal
The apartment has a spectacular view over the marina of Funchal. It has 4 large windows that give access to the balcony that surrounds the whole apartment and was designed to enjoy all day, sunlight, from sunrise to sunset.
The building is very well soundproofed, so the apartment is very quiet, even being in the heart of Funchal. State within the apartment will not hear noises from outside and you will get the feeling that you are out of the city center. The apartment is very relaxing ... the apartment has very good soundproofing.
From all divisions you can reach the big round balcony (sun all day), where you can relax and take full advantage of Madeira’s good climate while enjoying your meals.
Air conditioning and ceiling fan - Bedroom and Living Room
From the balcony you will have a suberb scenery and also you will be in a privileged place to watch the fireworks of June, New Year and our traditional parades like the Flower Festival and the Carnival.
In the beddroom beds can be placed side by side if required, forming a double bed.
In the dinning room there is a space reserved for 2 more beds, a bed settee which will convert to two single beds, ideal for children and young people.
This apartment is situated in the heart of Funchal center. you can easily walk to anywhere in Funchal. you have supermarket´s, Bakery´s, most famous Cafe and Restaurants at your door steep. Enjoy a nice walk by the Marina at night and return home with in minutes.
At walking distance to historic Ze Cathedral (300m), Ritz Café (100m), Marina (200m), Gardens (100m), Cafes (50m), Shopping (20m), Rental Car - 7M, CR7 Store, Old Town, Open Market (Mercado dos Lavradores), Barreirinha Beach Complex, Wine Lodges, Museums, Churches, City Hall Square, Cable car, CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo Museum). Next to the apartment there is a bus stop, bakery, mini-market, laundry, restaurant.
There are a large diversity of offers in the área: Taxi, public transportation, seightseeing, cultural, extreme and nautical sports, fitness center. It´s near the old town.
If you would like to go to swim nearby you will find Barreirinha beach complex (short walking distance), situated in old town, near Bar BBC (Barreirinha Bar Café) and restaurant Riso (Risottoria Del Mundo), great place to relax and swim, only 2 euros

As a returning visitor, it was everything we remembered from our last visit. Clean, spacious everything you need. Brilliant location. Few little extras from Miguel too! Looking forward to our next visit!

This is our fifth time in Funchal, the second time in this condo. We usually book for about 8-9 weeks. We love the location of this condo and the amenities that surround us. I had submitted a fairly detailed review from our last stay and our views remain the same. And although we are very sad that we were not able to stay to the end of March as planned, we are booked again for next year. We love Madeira and will be back.

This was our fourth visit to Madeira and we were very happy to have been able to stay in this apartment. The apartment is nice and warm due to the large windows that surround the front and side. If it gets too warm the large balcony doors can be opened to let a nice breeze through.
We really appreciated the view over the marina and enjoyed watching the activity in the harbour as well as watching the cruise ships coming and going. We also were able to watch the Carnival Parade from our balcony.
We were a bit concerned that there might be street noise, but were pleasantly surprised that once the doors were closed the apartment was very quiet. The location is also close to the various bus stops which we used in our hiking of the various levadas and trails.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen that we used to cook most of our meals. The shopping mall and the grocery store are a short 5 minute walk away and we bought groceries as needed. A larger coffee pot would have been nice to have.
Miguel was at the apartment when we arrived and gave instructions on items in the apartment and a list of places to see and things to do, including his recommendations on local restaurants.
We look forward to our return next winter and have already booked with Miguel.

This apartment in centrally located in the heart of Funchal. Everything is within walking distance or if needed, the buses are right outside the door. Restaurants, grocery store, and bakeries are all close by. The view of the harbour is superb and the balcony is huge. You can watch the cruise ships coming and going from the balcony each day.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook your own meals though with all the fantastic restaurants close by, the temptation to eat out is often too great. The balcony doors of the apartment could be opened on warmer days to get a good cross breeze blowing through to cool the apartment down quickly. I was not fond of the brown colour scheme in the suite (brown curtains, bed spread etc.) but that was a minor thing when compared to all of the pluses of the apartment.
And do take one of the jeep tours offered by Miguel. They are a great way to see the island. Miguel knows his way around the island so he can take you to locations you would never otherwise get to see. His jeep tours are great value and informative.
