Next to the living room is the kitchen, which is accessed via a balcony. In the kitchen you can prepare and enjoy your meals, as it is fully equipped so you can cook without any complications.
The bedroom, equipped with a double bed, is ready to welcome you at the end of your long days exploring the beauty of our island. The property is equipped with a bathroom with a bathtub.

AREA
Located in the city centre of Funchal, this flat is close to the motorway and the main tourist attractions of the capital of Madeira Island, if you want to explore the surrounding area on foot. Nearby you'll find restaurants, bars, museums, Funchal Cathedral, Funchal Municipal Gardens, Funchal Marina, shopping centres, supermarkets and the Municipal Theatre.
In the city centre there is plenty of information on all kinds of activities you can do during your holiday: cultural activities, extreme activities, nature activities... whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island!
PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

This is an excellent property in a walkable neighborhood. Although there are many restaurants and shops in the area, it was quiet at night. It’s the perfect base to exploring beautiful Funchal.

The apartment looks out over a beautiful small botanical garden which has a cafe within it. It's right next to the heart of old Funchal and comes with parking for a hire car. It's perfectly situated as a great base for driving off into the mountains for walks along the levadas then coming back and having restaurants on your doorstep or you can cook your meal after an amble through the town. There is a supermarket in the plaza just 5 minutes walk away.
To access the apartment and parking you need a key fob which you collect from the ‘Island Apart’ representative.
There is a small kitchen but it has what you need and a sofa bed if there is more than 2 of you.
Great location and we had a fabulous holiday.

The property overlooks a stunning small botanical garden with a cafe near the centre of old Funchal. There is one double bedroom with view of this and a lounge with a fold out double bed and small adjoining kitchen. Great location to explore the island from or just hang out in the heart of Funchal in the evening.
