B&B La Residenza Del Maestro Catania

As a couple, this B&B was perfect for us. It is in a quiet street, although we were privileged sometimes to hear singers practising at the theatre, which is at the end of the street on a lovely piazza. Also, it is pretty central, we could not have been nearer to the Piazza Duomo, which is just round the corner.The B&B has 3 rooms, off from the breakfast room. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated, very clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and perfect bathroom, great shower, etc. The breakfast was good: cereal, yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, eggs, bread and cakes, etc. were always available and tea and coffee. We could help ourselves to tea or coffee during the day when we returned from a day exploring. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. Fabio transferred us from and to the airport, which was a bonus.

Room is clean, great continental breakfast ready on time, room is spacious, shower is great! Minutes’ walk to every single attraction in town. The biggest bonus was a very good restaurant that opens everyday 11AM to 10 PM vs the majority of the restaurants that opens late for dinner. I find it convenient for us Americans who tend to eat dinner much earlier than the locals. Our host contacted us prior to our arrival and picked us up at the airport for a reasonable fee; he was on time picking us up too! He was also very responsive to every need I had via WhatsApp. Gabriella is the lady on site in the morning; she set up the breakfast and cleaned the room for the BnB. She has zero English and I have zero Italian), so our “conversations” were quite lively. She is very friendly and outgoing, we like her a lot. I will go to them again if I ever visit Catania again.

Modern, clean apartment. Shared dining area where breakfast served. Coffee/ tea avail to make all day. Nice restaurants close by. Owner can arrange pick up and drop off for a fee.

The host are very nice very kind very helpful we arrived evening around 22 pm to the train station and pick us up from the train station of catania to the B&B thanks a lot for his help
