The hotel is a very short walk from all of the sites of Catania. The bed was extremely comfortable and a very nice clean room.
The receptionist on arrival was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a good standard.
Excellent value overall.

Stayed at Romano house for 2 nights. My room had the strangest layout of any room I have ever stayed in and I have travelled a lot! The room itself was tiny and I could hardly open the front door without hitting the bed. But the worst part of the room was that the bathroom was up about 15 narrow winding stairs which makes this room very impractical. This is not mentioned anywhere in the room description when booking. I would have never booked this room if I knew this. On the positive side the bed was extremely comfy. The location is good and within easy walking distance of Etnea Street. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. I would stay here again but only if the bathroom was not upstairs and the room didn't face the street opposite a loud karaoke bar.
