The location in the city was perfect, the rooftop with view of Etna was absolutely exceptional.
The self-check-in was bad! I got the information for the check-in during my flight. So we were standing in front of the property on the street, sending our information and ID’s per WhatsApp, waiting 15 minutes, nothing happened, calling the host, he hung up saying use WhatsApp, after 20 minutes he sent the codes…

Quick responding host via what’s app
messages with self check in instructions with quick communication when booking. Was a last minute booking for us and they were helpful. Rooms were good but building and area misleading on exterior compared to rooms on 4th floor. Has small elevator to assist anyone with mobility and stairs. Great fresh morning pastries 🥐 brought in for guests. Thank you
Suggestions to share - stair railings going up stairs after entrance need review and securing as came off wall ( could be a building issue not host). Building has elevator which is very helpful for anyone with mobility issues. Bathroom door in room and ball handle loose and suggest terrace wood furniture require upgrading

The room was well maintained, with enough space for two people. The window provided enough sunlight during the day and the curtains provided total blackout if needed. Bathroom was ok. The view from the terrace was exceptional, both during the day and during the night.
Breakfast included only 1 croissant and a coffee pod for espresso, the rest of the mentioned items (like juice) were empty.

Location is great.
Property was advertised as hotel and room was advertised as a junior suite. Neither is true. It is an apartment converted into five guest rooms. There is no reception—just an AI agent on WhatsApp. The “suite” is just a room with not even a closet, not to speak of a sofa or a coffee table. False advertising.

"The location in the center of Catania was perfect. The room was comfortable and the rooftop view of Etna was fabulous! We we so happy to have a ride from the airport set up before we arrived."
