Excellent stay at Casa Provenza, very comfortable room and lovely terrace. Location is great, near to duomo and easy to walk to places.

Large, clean, and comfortable room in perfect location near the Duomo. Very quiet. Room opens onto a large, shared balcony overlooking the cathedral dome and the clock tower. Breakfast was excellent and served on the balcony. Antonella, the host, even served her wonderful, homemade lemon cake. She also went above and beyond, calling a taxi to fetch us when we got lost outside the city. Note: don't be put off by the street graffiti, it is typical all over Catania.
Leaving luggage for later pickup after checkout may not be available.

I liked the location, balcony and breakfasts. Alex is the good host, but Antonella is different. She might have a bad mood sometimes, and show, that she is the boss in this facility, without care about clients although she's serving and cleaning personal. I am just wondering, that some travellers score this B&B as an exceptional. It may be because these hosts meet and talk with them personally, but it's very annoying service, when Antonella talks to the client during breakfasts.
I had an issue on check out. I asked Alex day before about leaving at 11:00, and he didn't mind. He also noted, that I could stay until 13:00, but I will have to pay 10 Euro in such case. But Antonella requested me to pay 10 Euro on check out at 10:40, or to get out the facility with very unpolite behaviour. It's not really about this small money, and this note is about a basic respect to the client. This is my 6th B&B during my travelling in Sicily, and I never met such poor attitude.
