We found it to be perfect for a short visit to the city.

A fabulous place to stay. We had one night in Bristol, and the host was super helpful and allowed us to park up early. Train station was 200m away. Room was very clean and facilities were all excellent. And at a very competitive price. We would stay again.

Its pretty minor. Pillows were a bit soft! Other than that, everything else was wonderful.

Clean space. Quite house. Easy to get in and out. Host has setup everything before arrival. Did not need to ask for anything as everything was there on arrival. Quiet area and no fuss

Would have had no complaints if there was heating.

Nicely done. Clean and furnished adequately. Simple to gain access and parking spots available

Was freezing cold. No heating on until 5am for about an hour then went off again. Messaged host but no response. No way to turn heating on so had to get coats and jumpers from the car which we wore to bed.

Cheap, comfy but disorganised.

Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Owner was quick to respond.

Our room was double booked. We couldn’t get in. Owner came and was sorting out a spare key but then it became apparent that somebody was in the room already. The owner opened a small upstairs room for us. We booked a large downstairs room that we paid a bit extra for. There was a fridge next to the bed that we had to unplug as it was really noisy. There were chocolates that were mouldy; probably out of date. All in all not a great experience.

Comfortable stay

The property is in close proximity to the public transport and not far from the central part of the city. Clean facilities and powerful shower. Prompt communication with the owner. Thank you.

Very good stay thank you

It is very clean and comfortable. All I need is there for one night. Good communication and instructions from the owner. Easy to find location and even with a parking. Wonderful

It is right next to a railway and I knew when I booked it. Luckily not too many trains passing by. Only a few and not throughout the night.

Just for sleeping

We never saw the owner and would not even know where he was. Saying that we were well informed how to get in as Mark did tell us the code and everything we needed to get so that was no problems. We did get a shock when the trains were passing by... omg 😨 The NOISE! We had 2nd thoughts thinking we are NEVER going to sleep but by after 10pm no trains went past. Unfortunately, we both didn't sleep well as the sheets and covers just itched our skins. Was so scratchy. We were hoping to use the washing machine but had a dirty teatowel and felt not very clean so we didn't use it. The rooms were clean and bathroom where we slept. We didn't make tea or coffee but noticed a little chocolate next to the tea and coffee, which put a sweet little touch.

Weekend Stay

I forgot my phone so didn't have the code to get in one evening! So I knocked on Mark's door, disturbing his evening, and he kindly came to let us in.

The trains were pretty loud, but everything else was immaculate.

Handy, good value rooms

I booked this really late (4pm on day of arrival) Host was very helpful and made sure everything was ready. The room was quiet and clean. Very well located for trains and buses into central Bristol. There is a private staircase and you can come and go as you want once checked in. Easy parking, good facilities. Thank you

We were visiting family at Cheswick Village and needed somewhere in walking distance. The room suited our needs perfectly as we just wanted onewhete to sleep. Newly fitted and decorated and scrupulously clean, small but comfortable. Excellent shared kitchen if needed. We stayed 7 nights and Mark replaced our towels and replenished water bottles in the fridge during our stay. Very helpful.

Nothing to dislike…it wasn’t expensive and so very good value. Mark was welcoming and friendly and made the arrival and stay easy.

Todo muy bien, pero en la periferia de Bristol

El check in y check out fue fácil. La habitación es cómoda, está limpia y tiene de todo lo necesario (toallas, secador de pelo,...). Está en un barrio residencial en la periferia de Bristol, pero a pocos minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Filton Abbey Wood, con conexión directa a Bristol Temple Meads, Bath y Cardiff. No vimos al propietario, pero la comunicación fue fácil y rápida. El primer día nos pareció que hacía algo de frío, pero enseguida contestó, fue a mirarlo y lo solucionó. El resto de días hubo muy buena temperatura. Estuvimos a gusto.

Aunque se veía un barrio tranquilo, la zona era demasiado residencial. En el camino desde la estación de tren a la casa, pasas por zonas de casas, pero no hay comercios ni bares ni restaurantes. No da sensación de inseguridad, pero por la tarde-noche de diciembre, se hace oscuro y no hay apenas gente por la calle. Alejado del centro de Brístol.

Une très bonne adresse

Le bon accueil et la serviabilité de Mark le propriétaire, la propreté et la qualité du service : frigot fourni avec des bouteilles d'eau, un boulloir avec du café et du thé, du linge de bain, un ventilateur mis à disposition par Mark qui est d'une grande gentillesse et aussi l'emplacement dans le sens où c'est bien desservi par des bus.

Il n'y a pas quelque chose en particulier. C'était très bien.
