    The room was very clean, comfortable , spacious and quiet. Check in was quick and pleasant staff. All great. would book again.

    The hotel itself was lovely, clean & well maintained. My biggest issue/diaspoint with our stay was being told on arrival, that each member of our party would be charged £15 to use the spa facilities, as we hadn't booked our stay directly through the hotel. (unfortunately due to financial reasons this wasn't wasn't an option) The receptionist wasn't particularly helpful, she didn't try to offer any solution. I booked the hotel purely based on the fact it was a hotel & spa. I suffer with sereve arthritis, so after a 3hr drive i was really looking forward to using the hotels spa facilities. At no point when I booked our stay was i ever informed or made aware that booking through a 3rd party didn't include the hotels spa facilities & that i'd be required to pay extra.

    Nice hotel. Free parking on the weekend. Its a shame, that if you book via a third party, you do not get access to the gym & facilities (it was advertised that we would). We booked spa treatments, but even then, we were told,.we did not have access to the pool.
