Meadow Street En-Suite Rooms

The street is lovely and quiet with a Chinese takeaway across the road, which is super handy. The house is extremely secure with a resident house keeper - all doors also have codes, we felt very safe. The rooms we had (1 x single and 1 x double room) were really clean, the beds super comfy and lots of pillows to choose from. The windows were open when we arrived which was a nice touch as it had been hot. Two bottles of water, two cereal bars and two mint chocolates were in the room - plus a few milk sachets and tea & coffee. There's a small shampoo and separate shower gel in the ensuite bathroom and towels. A rabbit fur throw and two fur rugs - nicely decorated and cosy. The communal areas were super clean as well.

Unfortunately, if someone has the washing machine on downstairs and someone else is having a shower - you could loose hot water. We spoke to the owner who was lovely and said it rarely happens and that the housekeeper would switch off the washing machine. Once that happened I could have a shower. The parking is limited - we got there after 9pm and already most parking spaces in the street had been taken.

Easy staffless check in. Clear instructions, perfect location as needed to be in Bristol early the following morning

The room was a reasonable size.

The area was dirty with overflowing rubbish bins.I understand that the owners have no control over this. Also my car was scratched by someone. There is very limited parking in the area I was able to get parked near the property but be prepared to park out of sight of the property. Inside the property the stairs are steep,narrow and the carpet is dirty. There was only one tea bag and nothing else even though it was advertised as tea and coffee facilities in the room.
