Exceptional 2 bed apartment in Cleethorpes
Everything was excellent. The little touches, such as cleaning products, toilet rolls, shower gel, handwash, toilet rolls, tea/coffee/milk sachets / sugar, salt, pepper, crisps, biscuits and towels/tea towel were available to use, and eat! There were even washing machine tablets if you wanted to use the washing machine in the kitchen and an iron! There is a hairdryer in the main bedroom (in one of the draws below the TV). There is a tv in both bedrooms and the kitchen, where there is ample space and a kitchen / dining table with 4 good-sized chairs. There is also a lounge with a sofa and chairs, and a tv here also.
The location is perfect. Within a 2 min walk to the seafront and an easy walk along the sea front, where there are ample eats/drinks and amusement arcades, with bowling and crazy golf too.
The main road running parallel with the seafront offers some shops and arcades with lots of fish and chip shops, to coctail bars and restaurants to choose from.
There are a few local shops on St Peter's avenue, but it is sadly a little run down.
The opposite end offers a leisure centre with an indoor pool, a mini railway, a Hungry Horse pub, KFC, a Macdonalds, and a few other eateries but the main end is where Captains Quarters is located.
Just down a few yards is the Fishermans Pub, serving food till 9pm and is busy, so it is best to book a table.
There is lots to do and only an hours drive to Lincoln.
Note for anyone with mobility issues:
There are approx 12 metal steps up to the main entrance of Captains Quarters. Once inside, there are approx 14 steep, narrow, carpeted, stair steps up, leading to the apartment.
There is a shower over the bath, but there is no slip mat and no hand rail on the wall. Caution required or take a slip mat with you.
Beach Access:
There are various entrance points to the seafront. Some with steps, some on a steep slope.
The main road and St. Peter's avenue is a little depressing, as the area is now hosting closed premises and shabby buildings, lots of estate agents and the odd random shop like boots and peacocks.. the bakery is good tho! So stick to the sea front for that "seaside" feeling!

The property was clean and well equipped. It was really nicely decorated and included beautiful photographs of various focal points of Cleethorpes which I thought was a lovely touch. A helpful link to everything you need was included and the property owners were very attentive and responsive to any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend staying here. The beds were very comfortable and bedding clean and smelled lovely. We were provided with fresh towels and bedding and complimentary snacks on arrival which I thought was a thoughtful touch after a late night travel and arrival. It was a last minute booking but they were more than accommodating. The property is located in the middle of the town centre and a stones throw away from the beach and surrounding shops. Perfect for our short stay over the weekend.
The front bedroom by the front entrance smelled a little from the below apartment we believe but it did not ruin our stay.

Prima ligging! Ruim en licht en echt gewoon heel schoon en verzorgd!
Eigenlijk niets. Een balkon had leuk geweest daar we vier dagen zon hadden, maar de boulevard lag om de hoek!
