We only stayed 1 night. I would not stay 2 nights in this property.

The property we booked was not the property we stayed at. We were told in message we were being upgraded to a better property due to water damage to the original property. Having not seen the original property I can not say as to whether or not we were upgraded to a better property but if the property we stayed in was better I would not like to have seen the first property. We have written messages to the property owners but I have not received a reply.

My family and I had a very disappointing and stressful stay.

The location.

The heating system was extremely inadequate. It only worked through an hourly boost timer, which meant the house remained cold unless we repeatedly went to the kitchen every hour to activate it. Even then, around 80% of the time the boost function did not trigger the heating at all. This left us either freezing or constantly monitoring the system, which is unacceptable—especially when travelling with elderly people. The shower was also a serious issue. The water temperature was completely unstable, alternating between extremely hot and very cold without warning, creating a risk of burns and making it very uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the bedsheets had a strong wardrobe/musty smell, and some of them had visible holes, which raises concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The overall experience caused significant stress. The only positive aspect was having a roof over our heads; otherwise, the stay was far below acceptable standards. My parents, who are almost 70 years old, suffered greatly throughout this experience, which is particularly upsetting. Given the conditions and the distress caused, I am extremely disappointed and request a refund. I sincerely hope that appropriate measures are taken to prevent other guests from going through a similar experience.

I made my reservation 15 days before my check-in, and when I arrived at my check-in time, the house wasn't ready. I

I waited for over 3 hours to check in during the rain. This was absurd, and when I arrived, the place wasn't clean yet. I had to wait for the host to clean the place and change the bed linens, and even then, it wasn't a satisfactory clean. On my second-to-last day of the reservation, the house lost power. I had to call the host, and he took a long time to respond, leaving me without power and unable to work.

We had a really nice stay at this property. Very warm and modern house. It was only five minutes in a taxi to the city centre. The host was also very helpful.

Nothing to complain about, friendly host, good broadband and really liked the house.
