Rose Cottage

Very clean which is important. We liked the furnishings throughout, the beds mattresses and pillows were incredibly comfortable along with lovely sheets and towels. The house was stocked with shelf food and spices which we didn’t use but a nice touch to have. No short cuts with helping you have a pleasant stay.

Steep but short hill getting to it but wasn’t a deal breaker at all.

Beautiful location and mightily impressed with the eclectic collection of books and records held by the owner. The property was ideally located on the edge of the town so only a ten to fifteen minute walk to shops, bars and restaurants. My friends and I all live in very rural areas so appreciated the quiet and peaceful location. As we were out and about most of the time, we made very little use of the facilities. The outside patio area looked inviting and I am sure that it would be much appreciated in the warmer weather. The sauna looked very attractive but sadly no time to try it out.

Would have liked a microwave to warm up my milk, but fairly trivial in the scheme of things!

Great location, lovely views. Well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches.

95 year old Mum struggled with the number of steps from parking to cottage.

We loved the house and location. There was everything we needed provided and thought of with really good information on how to make the most of our stay. Loved it!
