La Venezia Station Residence Mestre

Was nice and quiet. It’s not really a hotel as in on 2nd floor, not staffed and has about 4 or 5 rooms and a separate bathroom. They meet you in the entrance with the keys so you have to be sure what time you are arriving. The rooms are nice and it’s relatively clean. Entrance is on a side street close to Main Street and travelling alone. A lot of the residents congregate on the street across from entrance but they seemed nice enough just a bit unsettling when travelling alone.

I booked and paid for a triple room with bathroom. Was a leaking pipe so first night put me in a triple room with the one shared bathroom (only 2 of the rooms share the bathroom). The second night moved me to a double room with bathroom. They did offer to cancel whilst I was travelling there but too late to do this. No compensation offered and a bit disappointed in this as my one full day involved moving my stuff at 9.45am, cutting into my day trip to Verona. They did express their thanks for me agreeing to the move but again just too late to organise an alternative.

It’s a bit hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area, but if you take your time to find the place actually wasn’t to bad, it’s closer to park ramp & train station @ the same location.

The street where is located, was locas at night that was a bit interesting.

There no name board for this hotel,you need to call the owner to find place,I don't why. But not satisfied with this property and they charged 4.5 euro pp for the tourist charge ,,never had this from other places. But not really recommend
