The property is poorly managed, and it clearly shows in the cleanliness and the strong sewer smell we encountered, starting from the hallway to the room we stayed in. I spoke to the staff three times about the odor, but they dismissed my concerns, claiming it must have been perfume or something else. Only after we insisted did they bring two bottles of bleach and cleaner to pour down the bathroom drains, which, unsurprisingly, didn’t help. I had to open the window to air out the room, but it was very cold outside. After a few hours, I had to close the window, and the smell became even worse. We seriously considered leaving the facility and checking in somewhere else. By 1 a.m., we couldn’t sleep, so I contacted Expedia for help. Unfortunately, the agent was neither empathetic nor helpful. I explained that the situation was unpleasant, unhealthy, and likely hazardous, as we were possibly breathing in sewer fumes. After waiting on hold for over an hour, the agent informed me that the hotel wasn’t willing to refund or cancel anything. They offered to switch rooms, but I explained this offer came far too late and was never mentioned earlier. Instead, the staff repeatedly dismissed the smell, claiming it was from cleaning products or perfume, which was both absurd and insulting. I also told the Expedia agent that, in all my years of traveling, this was by far the worst experience, and the property should not be listed on Expedia. It’s clear they don’t check the hotels.

Very inconvenient check-in end time for travelers, not indicated in the check-in time section, front desk closed at 8pm, not like a regular HOTEL doing, we arrived at 9pm and won’t be able to check in, Expedia staff called the hotel nobody answered, we ended up with having to find another place to stay for that night with extra cost, very bad experience

The hotel is very convenient for airport drop off and the train station is only seconds away. The couple of things i thought could have made it better was. No toast only hard rolls and crispbreads. No salad to go with the meat and cheeses on offer. The 2nd thing was no shelving to store toiletries, we had to open the window and use the shelving. Not enough working sockets.

This hotel is great for a short stay, particularly because it is virtually opposite Mestre Train/Bus station so is very convenient for either getting into Venice itself or to access the shuttle service to Marco Polo or Treviso airports.The room I stayed in was clean if a little small but everything worked and the breakfast wasnt bad at all. There is good wifi but if you dont speak Italian it is better to go directly to the reception desk rather than call by phone.For the money it is good value.

The hotel is old but good value. It was clean and the room was large enough. Excellent location right at Venice Mestre station. My only negative comment is that the bed was very uncomfortable - the bed springs were past their use by date and the bed was saggy and lumpy. New mattresses would be a bonus.

My wife was just two months out of the surgery and she could not shower sitting down. I hit my head at night on the very low ceiling. They couldnt find our reservation and asked me for the reservation hotel.com printout to make a copy. What if didnt have a printout but only e-mail? They gave us another room next because I was really upset. The both rooms smelt like they were trying to eradicate bed bugs. Every two hour I had to call for a new internet access code?!?! Only when I told the guy downstairs that Ill be working with the States all night and will keep calling him every two hours all night for the new code he gave me the code for the over night. I just dont understand the logic here. In the morning and day time the hotel workers were very nice and helpful though.

I was simply passing through Mestre so needed a convenient and reasonably priced place to stay. This was perfect. Its basic and the staff are friendly enough. The main advantage is that this hotel is literally across the road from the train station. So nipping in to Venice takes about 5 minutes (and costs just €1.25)

Was not sure about this hotel reading previous comments before we booked, but we wanted somewhere cheaper than the silly prices that Venice had to offer. The hotel is very clean and staff very helpful with tips on visiting Venice. Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable with LCD TV, fridge, air con and hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom very clean with a decent shower. We expected it to be quite noisy being near Mestre station, but the room was very quiet with window shut. For visiting Venice it was as easy as being in Venice itself, just a 2 min walk to train station then a 10 min train ride to Venice. If anyone wanted to visit Venice I would recommend this hotel for its convenience with train station and ATVO bus stop for transfers to Venice Marco Polo airport and Trevisio airport which we used

This hotel was really excellent. Its location near to Trieste's bus and train station is very convenient, and also very near to Trieste's centre,The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was nice, there is a little bar on site and the whole place exudes character. All in all very good value for money if you are looking for an option in Trieste

This hotel was extremely shabby though clean. The decor was really sad and old. The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. I did not have a breakfast as i had to leave early. There was a Best Western hotel round the corner which looked a bit more inspiring and no doubt more expensive. I would not stay in this hotel again in spite of its convenient location opposite Mestre station.
