A comfortable and convenient stay in a great location.

The apartment was clean, modern, and well-presented. The space felt cosy and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay. The location in Gunwharf was excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Check-in was super smooth.

Was ok

Really in need of some TLC, was ok for one night, but would not want to stay longer. Bed was ok, but room on side where busy rail line is going, so is noisy, windows needed to be open as too hot otherwise. Kitchen cabinet had a front missing and no one bothered seemingly to clean there.

Well where should I start!!! When we arrived at the property I called the owner 3 times via the intercom, I got NO reply lucky there was a man outside that let us in. Even now I have had no response from him. The smell in the hallway was of stale smoke. We eventually got in the room!!! The pictures on Booking.com must be at least a few years old, the property needs a full makeover, the bedding did not seem as if it had been changed from the previous people who stayed in the property and was very warm, it looked as if it had been very used. The shower was very weak. The light switch was yellow and the light fittings were very dusty. A detector in the ceiling was covered with a sock and another one was missing. The noise from the people outside was most of the night and then when we did get to sleep the trains started.

Closeness to gun wharf and the dockyard

Noise from railway , shower head wouldn’t stay in holder and black mould on the tiles. Having tea/ coffee/ sugar available to make drinks. Little gestures and pin point cleanliness , better glazing to cut out railway noise.

disappointing

spent more than 5 minutes trying to get some hot water from the taps, to no avail! Some black mould in shower, beware if you're allergic to the spores Room is basic and essentially clean. Not sure of the previous experience of someone who would score this apartment '10'. We have been to >100 Booking.com places, and considering the cost, this would be in the bottom two.

Location great, apt disappointing.

Sadly the passcode given wouldn’t let us into the main entrance of the building, we had to ask a resident to let us in. I did speak to the contact given and he was apologetic and helpful so thank you to him, this does need rectifying. Very disappointed with the apt, toilet seat broken, heating not sufficient, towel rail heater not working, bedding and towels didn’t smell fresh, a random used shower cap hanging up & coffee in the cupboard had gone hard. generally the cleanliness was not up to the expected standard. The location was great but the apt could be better.
