Spring Garden Apartments

Location is fab and the owners are lovely. You have everything you need in this great apartment, bed is really comfy and it's spotless. We've stayed a few times now and always go back. Reasonably priced, we love it.

We stayed in Olive tree, This place was a Home away from home, fantastic with the options of cooking and washing our own clothes, The fridge and freezer were super handy for this hot weather! The pull out bed was super comfortable for our daughter and the double in the bedroom was good. The shower was perfect. Tea and coffee at hand if you forget your own, little milk pots also. Toaster at hand too. The washer had a drying setting too which was perfect for small loads. Information books by the tv which was super handy! And a lovely little guest book full of others sweet notes about their stay. We stayed during the heatwave (up to 30°) and were visiting family the room stayed at a good temperature but we used a plug in desk fan for our daughter. Bedding provided, sofa bed easy to use, TV had great choices for kids. Even board games under the TV if you fancy that. Absolutely cannot fault the place. When we first arrived we were welcomed by we believe the owner who was such a wonderful lady, gave us a bit of history of the place which really made it shine even more. A few days in we had a knock at the door asking if we would like fresh towels, we washed the ones we had but really appreciated the gesture. It was a very quiet spot, was fully booked and heard nobody. There were building works downstairs but there was absolutely no disturbance, started at an appropriate time and we were out most of the day regardless, builders were pleasant also. Cleaning supplies at hand, plenty of bins, we used a spare bag to designate recycling, bins were downstairs at the back where the car park is. Parking was fairly easy, small alleyways to it so be cautious driving in but otherwise easy. Very close to the town center near Morrisons as well as an Iceland's, gosport ferry is a short walk away. And plenty of spots to dine out, we recommend "inn by the sea" in lee on solent.

Well equipped very clean and a good size and lovely owner and well situated For the town and docklands..we had a good time but mattress and ants need to be dealt with and it would then have been a perfect stay....

The mattress was old and very uncomfortable i could feel the springs sticking out the sides when sitting or lying down and gave me a bad back for the weekend. Also a problem with ants coming into the kitchen and onto the counter tops

Front appearance could be improved with a new coat of paint and tidy garden, it was just weeds and not really a garden!! Struggle to have 4 people in the flat, we have to move the kitchen table to the lounge whenever we had breakfast and dinner. Hair dryer could be replaced with a normal one instead of one of those attached to the wall with the base and one has to hold the whole thing to dry hair!! Most unusual!
