Lovely stay with 2 dogs. My dogs were unsettled, but Lee didn’t complain

Friendly hosts. Good location. Lee and Mel very welcoming. Very clean and shared bathroom is very good. Can go down in morning to get milk and water

Great location, clean l, safe and centrally located to everything

I had a great experience staying at this property. the hosts Lee & Melanie were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean and quiet in a safe neighborhood. centrally located with easy access to shops and restaurants.

It got abit cold at night and i think heating is controlled centrally thus i was unable to adjust it. Nonetheless I put on a sweater and extra warm socks and was fine. There was also an extra blanket on the bed and that helped.

Nice comfortable stay in a good location

Comfortable homely accommodation. Clean and well presented. Near to a good selection of eating and drinking choices and we walked to the seafront. Lee arranged the parking permit for us and we were able to park easily in Cottage Grove. We were able to make a cuppa in our room and Lee provided us with fresh milk which we appreciated.

Bathroom and toilet facilities were very good but you do have to share. We were aware of this when we booked so this is for the guest to decide. No breakfast option

Great deal for clean place and opportunity to stay in English traditional house.

Lee and Melanie were super nice and friendly. It was not issue to drop bags earlier / pick up later.

A little bit wider bed would make it perfect place for homestay.

We had a great stay with a good price-quality ratio

The support of Lee as a host was amazing. We forgot a bottle of perfume and Lee was son kind to ship it back to us. Highly appreciated!

Parking at the location was a bit challenging, but no big problem. Lee supported here as well.

Lovely home with a spacious, comfortable guest room

Breakfast was not provided, but that was fine as I departed very early to catch a channel ferry. The location was ideal for a short drive to the ferry. The room was very spacious and included all of the creature comforts--even a fan which was appreciated on a warmer evening.

Sharing the bathroom ended up being a small issue. Having the extra water closet made up for the inconvenience.

Friendly Hosts & Clean Accommodation in a Quiet Neighbourhood

The hosts provided clear instructions for self-checkin prior to our arrival date and friendly reminders on the day as well. They graciously agreed for us to leave our luggage at the accommodation early on so we could enjoy sightseeing our favourite spots at Portsmouth's popular Gunwharf Quay spots. (Side note: Recommed eating spot - Pho: Vietnamese Street Food Restaurant. A must try!)

such welcoming owners, with such a lovely atmosphere! the room was lovely and clean, the bed was so comfortable and it was in a lovely location, 5 minutes walk from the theatre. wifi and facilities were excellent, and the kettle and tea/coffee facilities were a lovely touch. i had a wonderful stay!

we were in the room right at top. it is a lovely room however it can be quite warm and it doesn’t have a bathroom on the same floor.
