Somers 4 bed House off road parking pet friendly

Nice 3 bedroom house with comfy beds - ideal for a family stay in Portsmouth. Close to both main dockside attractions and the beaches etc. at Southsea. Big ASDA on the doorstep for provisions! Good value for money

Living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable and the wooden stairs were a bit slippy (no carpet or runner)

Stairs. Found them slippy. Bathroom needs some attention not the best. Felt like I was going to go through the floor

2 rooms were locked for some reason that was never revealed to me. During an incredibly fearsome heatwave one little fan was all that was available to attempt to keep us cool. Evidently there was upon looking through the front window of one of the locked rooms there was a tall fan but as the room was locked we did not get access to this second fan. I was under the impression I had booked a 4 bedroom house but only 2 bedrooms were accessible the other 2 were locked. The parking was quite good apart from you could not gain entry through the back door as there was not a back door key available so you had to walk down 3 streets in order to go through the front door and when you arrive with lots of bags and cases it is a bit of a trial. The conservatory area had a clear roof so when the sun shone you could not see anything on the telly as it shone through the roof and it was like a greenhouse because insufficient air cooling apparatus was not available. For the cost of this stay I would expect better than this.
