Parking was a really good point. Location was excellent, we was dropping our daughter to uni so this was perfect. Space in bedrooms was fab. Nice garden area.

Private garden to relax in. plenty of garden furniture.

Unable to access internet as no router or password details. Downstairs bedroom locked. . no.smoke alarm or extinguisher. This needs urgent resolution. Blinds on conservatory roof would assist TV viewing.

The property was left in a decent manner, however because it was rubbish bags in the kitchen and something left in the bedroom They wanted to charge me £66 Never in seven years booking through Booking.com staying in private houses and hotels have I ever been charged a penny? Book at your risk

Very disappointed

It was pet friendly and warm and that asda was over the road

The pictures on the Web site didn't match what we found when we got there, it said a down stairs wc it was an outhouse building that had been built around to join it to the house and it has an asbestos roof there are trip hazards all around the house the sink in the outhouse the hot tap was broken the dining table was sticky and when we used a wipe to clean the table it turned black mainly from the dirt and grime that had accumulated in the grove pattern on the surface with respect if you get some bleach spray and a cloth you will see out point the leather furniture excluding the swivel chair was in a very poor state the dining chairs are coming apart and the kitchen sink emptied very slowly paint was covering excessive mould in wc it's not personally with respect to you but when someone asks us to be honest we always are because that is how we like to be unfortunately the pictures don't match and are misleading and there was nobody more disappointed than us as this was our first weekend away in over 30 years so from gracious pictures to seeing the reality as you can imagine the disappoint was extreme sorry to make this so itemised but better you know the reality from someone who will be honest with you bering on malaise to you

Great for a group of friends or larger family

Clean, tidy, and overall a very pleasant property. Owners are very nice and helpful people to deal with. Little touches like a pint of milk and some tea, coffee, etc, were at the property on arrival, so there was no panic to rush over the road before having a brew. Off-street parking is also available at the property, which is a nice touch.

We liked that the house was secure.clean.comfortable.the hosts made sure the house was spotlessly clean.they left tea.coffee.milk.water.very easy to contact if we needed to which for us was a bonus as we travelled 6hrs.

Amazing stay and great hosts

I loved all the extra that were supplied it felt like home from home, they also put a Christmas tree up which was a lovely touch. The location was perfect for the centre of Portsmouth and we had an Asda right over the road which was ideal for supplies. The owners were amazing as after we left my son realised he had left his work uniform behind in the wardrobe and after contacting the hosts they arranged with my son to post his uniform back to him which we really appreciated as we were a 6 hour drive away. Nothing was any trouble and I think that makes all the difference. If we had to travel back to Portsmouth we would definitely stay again, great value for money and the bedrooms were all decorated nice and beds very comfortable.

The doors and wood work are a little out dated but this by no means effected our stay it was still a good stay. The parking was ok but I think it would be more beneficial if you could park one of the cars on the drive at the back of the house for more security, but we did have any issues

beautiful property, a home from home. immaculately clean, basic supplies at the property which was so welcomed. comfy beds, fab location, all around a brilliant place to stay over with friends/ family when visiting the area. we stayed with friends but wouldn’t have any concerns about staying here with the kids

Lovely little house, clean and very comfortable. Felt more like a home than a holiday home as the extra touches made it stand out from other places that we have stayed.

The plumbing was noisy but once we were used to it just made us smile.

Facilities excellent, location good

Every time we ran the water (including toilet flush) a pump system made a loud noise for a number of minutes. This noise could be heard throughout the house.

WE ARE VERY AMUSED, VICTORIOUS 2022.

The little touches like tissues, hand soap, plenty of loo rolls, Mirrors. Everyone's beds clean and comfy, nice soft linens. Quiet location. Bright attractive comfy furnishings. Very comfy sofa and chair. Well equipped kitchen. Two toilets helped with 7 of us. Beautiful Garden, love the Passion Flower and Hostas. Nice and peaceful to sit out at the end of a hot day. Helpful and welcoming Hosts.

Hate answering this question as there is so little that was negative about our stay. A second shower downstairs would have helped us. Shower over bath a little low for us tall folks. Towels a bit small but there were plenty so no issue really. In summary "DIDN'T LIKE HAVING TO GO HOME".

the house is nice and cozy it has everything you may need in your stay the location is excellent, the shops are nearby and you can walk to Asda to get your groceries very easily
