Close to QA hospital, Portsmouth Naval Cottage with incredible views

Perfect little place, great location and very comfortable

Lovely family home.

Needs a bit of TLC some problems with lights and plug sockets.

Comfortable cottage, beds were very comfy so slept well. Nice layout and easy to relax of an evening. Good location for visiting Portsmouth Historical Docks, Southsea and surrounding towns. Nice walk from the cottage to Portsdown Hill.

The location was great and overall the facilities were ok. Beds very comfy and games room great idea with great views. There was everything we needed for our stay.

Sadly we were greeted with an overwhelming smell of Dog upon entering which immediately put a slight downer on the experience. The cleaning wasn't the greatest but by no means dirty. We had to buy throws to cover the sofa and mask the smell of Dog. Also to make the sofa nicer to sit on. The games room had flickering lights so we couldn't spend too much time in there at night. Overall the place has the potential to be fantastic with just a few finishing touches and a little maintenance. If these were done then we would definitely stay again. we actually left one night early to get back to the fresh smelling home of our own. We did expect a small smell of Dog as it is pet friendly and we took our two Dachshunds with us. But honestly the Dog smell was pretty fierce.
