Very good location near the city center

The apartment was so much bigger than it appears in photos! It was lovely and spacious and came equipped with plenty of towels. There were plenty of plates and cutlery and even a microwave if needed. It was only me and my partner at the property so we had plenty drawers to store our clothes and things. Everything was very clean and fresh, and for the most part there was no noise or disruption to our stay. There is even a smart TV in the property so you can use netflix and other apps, which was great for us as we love watching a movie in the evening before bed! There are a few negatives which I’ve listed but honestly the positives greatly outweigh them and I’d recommend this apartment to anyone looking to visit Krakow. The location is incredibly convenient, it’s easy to access, it’s a gorgeously decorated and spacious apartment, and for the money you pay it’s a no brainer!

As we arrived there was an awful smell that wafted from the bathroom throughout the room, almost as though someone had gone to the toilet quite badly shortly before our arrival. It did subside after a couple of hours, but as we had to wait until 3pm to check into our room and check-out is at 10am, I can only imagine that it was the cleaner, which is slightly unprofessional. We didn’t realise at first, but the door in the living area leads into the other apartment and although it’s securely locked, our neighbours were very very loud and you would hear every word if you would be in there on the pull-out bed. Not only this, but there were only two small pillows provided on the bed and as someone with a bad neck it would be nicer to have two. Luckily as there were only two of us we just used the ones stored in the pullout bed, but something to note if you’re staying as a group of 3 or more. Also the windows in the bedroom are right on the main road in outside the castle, so you need to keep the curtains drawn practically all the time if you want some privacy, we even had some polish locals knocking on our windows to ask us for stuff at some points.

The location, bathroom, and comfortable bed

When we arrived, we walked past the front of the building twice, and the walls on the outside frontage were covered in graffiti. It looked dilapidated and derelict. When we finally found it, the name Exclusive Royal.Apartments was not what it was called. When we entered the apartment, it was very dark. We had to have the lights on even in the daytime. There was no light to see outside at night to be able to unlock the door. We had to use our phone to light up the lock..Also there was no curtain over the door and no privacy when the light was on. The apartment was very hot, and there was no fan or air conditioning unit. We had to have the small window open and you could hear an air conditioning unit running that was under the window outside but not for our apartment. We only had two small pillows, so i messaged the agents, and they provided two more the next day. The bed was comfortable, but unfortunately, the headboard was very worn, and black vinyl was on the bed and more fell off during our stay. The bathroom was sufficient with a lovely shower. If you wanted to go in the kitchen / lounge area, you had to walk through sideways to get through. It was quite noisy at night with residents slamming the street door. On our last day, the cleaner tried to enter the apartment while we were still in the apartment. Luckily we had the key in the door. I would not rate it as high as it was. It was very disappointing..
