From the very first moment you enter the room, you find yourself in a refined blend of history and modern comfort. The past is present here in the details, yet everything is curated with such taste and care that the space feels warm, intimate, elegant, and exceptionally comfortable.
The interior design is thoughtfully composed — nothing feels excessive, everything is harmonious, calm, and deeply atmospheric.
The service deserves special recognition. The staff are incredibly attentive, responsive, and discreet, always adapting to the guest’s needs and fulfilling requests effortlessly, while never being intrusive. You truly feel welcomed and valued here. No one disturbs you unnecessarily, there are no unwanted interruptions, and you are free to come and go at any time, enjoying complete peace and comfort.
The bathroom is a particular highlight: spacious, refined, always with hot water and fully equipped with everything needed for relaxation. Air conditioning is available, along with high-quality shampoos and even body oils, creating a sense of genuine care and indulgence.
There are only a couple of minor details. It was somewhat surprising that there was no toothbrush or toothpaste provided, which felt unexpected for a property of this level.
Additionally, when resting in the bath, there was occasionally some noise from the hydromassage bathtub in the room above. It was not overly disturbing and quite easy to tolerate, but it was noticeable. That said, this was the only real drawback and it did not significantly affect the overall experience.

kanonicza 22 exceeded our expectations , rooms are located above the in house fine dining michelin guide restaurant where you also pick up the keys - a member of staff gives you a tour of your room , the hotel itself is located right at the gates maybe 100 yards from wawel royal castle and Vistula river , main square is 5 min walk away , you can actually see the caste out of the window , along very charming medieval street :) , rooms are huge with living/dining room , bedroom and a massive bathroom with both rolling bath and a walk in shower , we stayed at the prince room which was very palatial, squeeky clean and everyday housekeeping was just amazing , soft drinks , wine on arrival as well as water throughout our stay (4 days) was an added bonus along with excellent breakfast which you can take either in your room or in the main restaurant .
All staff members at Kanonicza 22 are truly excellent , they are very attentive and can't do enough for you to make your stay more pleasant, we will definitely be staying there again as over our many visits to Krakow this boutique hotel is by far the best we have ever visited.
If you are looking for a memorable /special foodie experience , POD NOSEM , in house restaurant is well worth a visit with again exceptional service and michelin guide level food , serving modern polish cousine , caviar and champagne as well as excellent selection of international wines and surprisingly excellent polish regional wines.
Overall having traveled extensively all over the world I can honestly say that in my judgement you will struggle to find a place to match kanonicza 22 in terms of service and quality of accommodation.
