AC worked. Check in was easy. Room is a bit more rustic than pictured but good value for price. Host was responsive over text

Big mistake, never again

Location was good, approx 5 minutes walk to the beach.

No hot water (ever) - this is not stated in the description Very noisy from the road - constant traffic day and night Very uncomfortable bed No window in room - very dark and dank Disgusting bathroom facilities Water leak in bathroom not repaired when brought to their attention No daily housekeeping as stated in the description No coffee shop as stated in the description No tea/coffee maker as stated in the description Decrepit broken furniture in room Absolutely disgusting place not worth anywhere near the price paid

Good for one night

They have a very nice inner garden and plenty of space to sit outside, it’s very close to the beach while being off the main path

The bed and pillow were extremely hard and noisy, I couldn’t sleep at all. Since there are hostel type of rooms downstairs it was noisy until 2am. The kitchen is dirty and the utensils are very old. The host was not nice to us and accused of taking a wrong room, which we did after being indicated by her stuff. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but they should be solved within the stuff, not by accusing the guests. But other than that it was fine, we had a good time anyway

Don't book it!!!

Honestly, I was just relieved that we had only booked two nights. After the host’s husband told us in a very rude tone that we could ‘just leave if we didn’t like it,’ we had the strong impression that if we left early, we would never see our money again

Summary – Extremely disappointing, absolutely not recommended This place may be one of the cheapest options in Zipolite, but even for the low price it is completely unacceptable. The actual condition has nothing in common with the polished photos shown online — the presentation is misleading. Cleanliness & Condition: The entire property is neglected: ants and other small insects everywhere, a grimy shower, and every shower floods half the toilet area. The toilet flush barely worked — you could only flush about once every 20 minutes, causing unpleasant smells in the room. The bed sheets looked used and not freshly cleaned. On top of that, soiled baby diapers were lying on the dining tables, both indoors and outdoors — absolutely unhygienic. The entire outdoor area is dirty, grimy, uninviting, poorly maintained, and completely unlit, making it unusable at night. Room: Dark, oppressive, and with zero privacy — opening the window means looking directly onto a corridor where everyone can see inside. The air conditioning was unusable because the remote was taped over and locked at 26°C. Kitchen & Facilities: Run-down and practically useless: most of the eight gas burners didn’t work, and during our stay there was gas only twice. A threatening sign announcing a 100-peso fine for not washing a cup adds to the unpleasant atmosphere. Luggage Storage: Nonexistent — guests are expected to leave their luggage on an open, unsecured balcony. Hosts: The hosts were unfriendly and dismissive; there was no greeting and no sense of hospitality at all. The host’s husband, through his demeanor and body language, created a clear sense of discomfort; he came across as cold, very unfriendly, and somewhat arrogant, which made the atmosphere even worse. (My personal impression.) Conclusion: One of the worst accommodations I have ever experienced. Unacceptable hygiene issues, broken facilities, a neglected outdoor area, misleading photos, and an overall uncomfortable...

Lovely stay in a v creative, beautiful hostel!

We had a lovely stay at Maracuya Suites; our room was super clean with great water pressure & cool enough at night even without aircon! The owners are a lovely couple with the most beautiful baby & are always around to help with any questions. There is also the sweetest old cat who loves scritches 🥹 The rooms really maximise the space & our bathroom looked out over the jungle backyard which was lovely! There are also mosquito nets on all the windows which is so helpful.

Everything was fab! Just be aware the downstairs toilet / shower room has a lot of mosquitos which is a concern re dengue etc. But all in all a lovely stay, thank you!

One of the best!

Property is in an incredible location. Close to an amazing beach and various restaurants and shops. Room is large and bed is very comfortable Really quiet at night. There is an outdoor work out area, several hammocks, and mangoes a plenty. There is daily yoga and a weekly Spanish lesson. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. If you’re coming to the amazing Zipolite, then you simply HAVE to stay at Maracuya! You won’t regret it!!

El clima controlado, las ventanas sin cortina, el baño sin seguridad por afuera podrian entrar, el la regadera tapada, la llave del agua fugaba. Sabiamos que era hostel pero también suites pero de suites no tenia NADA

Meh

La ubicación es buena ya que puedes llegar caminando a la playa en menos de 5 min y al pueblo en unos 10. El cuarto es grande y es un buen espacio.

La cama era muy incómoda y las sábanas estaban rotas. El control del aire acondicionado estaba mutilado para que no pudieras más que encender el aire a 21 grados. NO HAY AGUA CALIENTE. Al llegar las personas que estaban en el hostal me ayudaron a hacer el check in pero fue una experiencia extraña. Al parecer la misma gente que se hospeda ahí es la que maneja el hostal así que el servicio es poco profesional.

Lugar cómodo con A.C a unos cuantos metros de la playa.

La habitación es cómoda y cuenta con A.C. La distancia a la playa es muy cercana, no hay ruidos en el exterior lo cual se puede descansar placenteramente. El precio es bueno, la habitación limpia. El área común sumamente rústica pero cómoda.

נקי יחסית המנקה נחמדה מאוד, תמיד מחייכת ומנקה כמו שצריך! נקיון החדרים היה מצוין המארחת הייתה קשובה לשאלות כלליות שהיו לי

רוב המתקנים לא עבדו או שפשוט לא קיימים- אין ברז מקלחת אלא צינור שגורם לכל חלל האמבטיה להתמלא מים ברגע שהמים זורמים, הגז במטבח לא עבד חלק מהזמן, האסלה לא הייתה מחוברת למושב בשום צורה מה שמפריע מאוד, השלטים של המזגנים נתקעים ומשאירים אותך לקפוא מקור באמצע הלילה. כשעזבתי, למרות שהמארחת של ההוסטל ידעה כמה לילות הזמנתי, וידעה שאני עוזב באותו הבוקר, בעלה של המארחת חשב שהזמנתי יותר לילות והתחיל לצעוק ולקלל אותי בעודי עוזב את המקום. לא יזיק להשקיע קצת או אפילו הרבה יותר במתקנים על מנת שהאורחים יוכלו ליהנות ולהרגיש בנוח, וכמובן לא יזיק לבעלים עצמם לקחת חופשה קטנה ולנקות את הראש, להרגע, ולעשות שינוי מהותי במקום, אחרת אין כל סיבה להגיע.

Confort y limpieza.

La ubicación está excelente, todo el lugar en general esta súper limpio, ampliamente recomendado, definitivamente ya sé a donde llegar cuando vaya a Zipolite. Me hospedé en diferentes lugares y este es el más limpio en el que estuve. Muchas gracias a todo el personal y a los dueños que hacen que sea posible que funcione el lugar.

Unterkunft entsprach außerhalb des Zimmers nicht unseren Erwartungen.

Die Zimmer waren sauber und sehr angenehm. Wir haben in dem komfortablen Bett sehr gut geschlafen. Zum Strand sind es wenige Gehminuten, die Lage ist sehr gut.

Aufgrund der Beschreibung waren wir davon ausgegangen, dass wir wie in einem Hostel die Küche mit anderen Gästen benutzen dürfen. Dies war auch der Fall, allerdings wurde uns von MitarbeiterInnen / EigentümerInnen(?) nicht das Gefühl gegeben in ihrem quasi privaten Raum wirklich willkommen zu sein. Die Kommunikation stellte sich nach dem unkomplizierten Check-in über WhatsApp eher als schwierig und aus Ein-Wort-Sätzen bestend heraus. Was wir uns als Minimum gewünscht hätten: Eine professionelle und transparente Kommunikation die einem nicht das Gefühl gibt, außerhalb des Zimmers fast schon zu stören. Der Garten/das Aussengelände ist groß und man erkennen, dass sein Potenzial in einer vorherigen Nutzung schon einmal besser ausgeschöpft wurde.

Recibes lo que pagas. Busqué lo más barato y aunque se esforzaron por construir un hotel con lujos, la verdad es que tiene bastantes desperfectos. Puerta de baño rota, regadera rota, la llave del agua da toques, la cama parece que en cualquier momento se rompe. Los dueños poco amables ni serviciales. Pero en general por el precio lo vale, la verdad es que me volvería a quedar solo por el precio.

Confort

Es la segunda reserva que realizo en estas instalaciones y todo perfecto. La limpieza es adecuada, la prestaciones del lugar; gym, cocina, zonas para comer comunes, etc. invitan a pasar una estancia muy agradable. El clima con los gestores del lugar es muy familiar y confiado. De igual forma con la ama de llaves, la cual se muestra muy amable y cercana con los clientes. Todo ha estado perfecto, será mi lugar de referencia para hospedarme en futuros viajes a Zipolite.

Cercano a la playa y relativamente cerca a la zona del centro de Zipolite. Cama cómoda. A pesar de no tener aire acondicionado, el ventilador fue suficiente.

No había salida de regadera. El agua salía directo del tubo. No hubo limpieza de la habitación durante los 5 días, aunque el cuarto se recibió limpio. Baño pequeño y no tan cómodo

Todo genial !

El personal ha sido amable, cercano y hospitalario en todo momento. Me he hospedado en una suite individual y puedo decir que la cama es enorme, ultracomoda, todo cuidado y limpio. Además, cuenta con AC, cocina comunitaria y equipamientos para que, en caso de no tener ganas de salir, puedas pasar parte del dia en las propias instalaciones. Por otro lado, los gerentes del lugar te ofrecen insumos básicos, cosa que se agradece. La relación calidad precio está increíble en comparación con otros lugares de la zona. Finalmente; el acceso a la playa se encuentra a escasos 2 minutos, motivo añadido para elegir este establecimiento.

Lindo lugar para quedarse!

La ubicacion es muy buena, cerca de la playa y la zona turistica de Zipolite. La cama muy comoda y el aire acondicionado genial! La limpieza excalente y una habitacion super amplia. Las areas compartidad y el Servicio de agua Excelente!

La señal del internet en la habitacion no era muy buena, la toalla de baño olia un poco a humedad, yo incluiria una silla en la habitacion. La regadera no cuenta con una cortina asi que salpica agua al momento de darse un baño.

Comme à la maison !

Je me suis sentie comme à la maison ! Andrés et Chiara les proprios son vraiment super ainsi que le personnel ! À vraiment 2 minutes de la plage et 5 minutes du centre. Petite épicerie juste en bas de la maison vraiment top où il y’a vraiment tout ce qu’on a besoin. Je recommande à 100%

Je n’y retournerai jamais, seul le prix est “attractif”

La chambre était correcte en terme de confort et de propreté.

L’accueil: il n’y avait personne quand nous sommes arrivés à l’hôtel. Nous avons été obligés de partir en balade avec nos gros sacs à dos. De plus il n’y avait aucun panneau annonçant le nom de l’hôtel, nous avons eu du mal à trouver. La “cuisine” est très sale, pleine de moustiques. Elle est impraticable. Ne comptez pas dessus lors de votre séjour. Il serait intéressant de mettre un pommeau de douche dans la douche (et pas un tuyau qui sort du mur).

Estancia Excepcional en Maracuyá Suites Zipolite. Excelente!

Me encantó mi estancia en Maracuyá Suites. Los cuartos son amplios, muy cómodos y frescos con aire acondicionado, todo súper limpio y con cocina equipada. El internet Starlink fue excelente para trabajar, rápido y estable. El jardín es enorme, lleno de árboles y súper tranquilo, ideal para descansar. A pocos minutos caminando de la playa. ¡Sin duda volveré!
